As he walked closer to me I fell on the ground in pain. I started twitching and screaming because it felt like my body was on fire.
I knew something was happening, I just didn't know what.
I screamed again as I felt my arm break. Then my other arm.
Then, I knew what was happening, I was turning. But I wasn't supposed to shift until I met my mate according to my mother. She said I was special and that I would turn when I met my mate instead of turning at 14. I still haven't met him yet though, why would I be turning?
The boy and his friends stood there and looked at me like I was insane, then they ran away due to me screaming again. Once I saw him leave I turned around despite the pain and crawled into the forest that connected to the school, I couldn't let the humans at this school find out that there were werewolves present among other supernatural creatures at this school ( even thought it's a school for the supernatural, there are humans that come because they're parents are super rich or have a high standing in the world, whether it be supernatural or human world) .
Crawling, or more like dragging my body through the grass, leaves and twigs I pulled myself to the edge of the woods before another sharp pain wracked my body. It felt like I was being roasted alive while being skinned and being electrocuted all at the same time! It hurt like a son of a dog.
Now I have heard from others that changing hurts, but that it doesn't hurt to bad, of course there's been cases when people have died due to the change, but it's rare.
