Explosions...

The sounds of each magical creature screaming in fear before being silenced by shining black cases...

Darkness...

Nightmares causing havoc...

A 4 white lights shooting into a pastel portal...

Five glowing, menacing eyes watching on...

This is the start of the age of darkness in the Dream Realm. The Queen and King both trapped in a black crystal, their only hope... a legend even to their world...

In the middle of the night, a girl with medium brunette hair sprung awake from a horrible dream. Panting and looking at the butterfly themed alarm clock next to her...

'3 am...'

She thought as she turned on the desk lamp on her bedside, allowing a soft light to illuminate the room. Next to the bed set was a window, looking out into the night which was pitch black, with the exception of the streetlights. Her bedroom walls painted to look like the sunrise sky, turning orange at the top and baby blue on the bottom. A bookshelf filled to the brim with comics, dvds and Figurines on the very top. Finally a dream journal on the work desk and a dream catcher above the floral painted bedframe.

The girl in question?

Sora Utaukaze, our protagonist.

She rubbed her blue eyes as she got up to write her nightmare down in her journal. Sora had many interests but one thing she loved more than anything were dreams, the bright happy visions and the meanings behind them! But she hated nightmares, this always meant something bad would happen... Whether it be stubbing a toe or an awful day at school. "I really hope today won't be bad," she whispered to herself as she finished her journal entry and heading back to bed. Wrapping herself in her pink and white daisy bed covers and going to sleep.

Sora got up a few hours later as her alarm went off, she hit the cancel button and got up. Opening up her closet and putting on her blue and gold uniform with an embroidered letters of 'DH' on the chest pocket containing her school I'D. The brunette sat at in front of her mirror vanity to fix her hair, pulling her medium length hair into pigtails with pastel pink scrunchies, her side hairs she left out being held by bright pink berrets and a pink hair band to finish her odd style. "Perfect," Sora said with smile as she went and brushed her teeth, snatching her messenger bag with her school and art supplies in it. Sora went down stairs to have breakfast, her mother Koyo and her father Natsu greeting her as their daughter started eating. "So what happened in your dream last night?" asked Koyo, Sora got a bit of a concerned look as she swallowed down some French toast, "It was a nightmare," she replied. She then explained her dream to the two adults, "Two things that stood out were these four lights this huge portal they went into," Sora finished as she got done with her food. The two saw her off as she left the house, running in the direction of her school.

Up ahead by she saw her friend, Rin Kohaku. "Sora! Hey!" Rin is a year above Sora in school, her hair is a scarlet red and her eyes are a chocolate brown, she wore a rose choker and arranged her uniform to have a punk look. "How was your morning?" asked the younger one, Rin gave an exasperated, "Not to bad, but I had this weird dream last night and I can't remember what it was about," replied the upperclassmen in frustration. "I still think you should make your own dream journal Rin," reminded Sora, having suggested it many times before, Rin looked at her short friend and replied, "I don't think so, it'll come back to me later." The two split up to head to their normal, however Sora lingered a bit so she could catch a glimpse of her crush who was in the same class as Rin. His name is Ryu Kuroinokitsune, it's an alabert last name I know but he was kind and very dorky. His hair is a dark brown, almost black and he has amethyst purple eyes. She stayed a bit before heading to her class, Sora and him are friends but she always turned into a spazz when she to talk him for long periods of time.
