Chapter 24

•Day 2•

Tanishaa POV

"Aleya wake up," I gently shake her.

"I'm up," she shifted herself but eyes still shut.

"Come on wake up," I push her a little harder than before.

She sit up. Rubbing her eyes with her jacket around her body.

"Morning Tani," she smiled. "What time is it?"

"4am."

"Then why did you wake me up. I only had be hour of sleep or less," she was going back to laying down when I stop her.

"Go wash up. Later the toilet pack. Go later you late. You know how girls are. Take so long to get shit done," I pull her hand and told her to get her things ready.

We head to the toilet and luckily there wasn't many people. We both quickly got ready and walk back to our tents when we heard footsteps catching up on us.

"Aleya!"

She turn around and we was face to face with Mustafa.

"Just Aleya. What about me? Am I not here too?" I rolled my eyes and he just scratch his nape.

"Sorry," he was smiling in embarrassment. "Morning Tani."

"So what is it?" Aleya ask him facing him.

"It's ummm can I have my jacket it's kinda cold outside?" He said blushing or something.

"I told you I don't need it but you insist. I'll pass it to you," Aleya rolled her eyes playfully.

I had no idea what they were talking about. Is it the jacket that Aleya woke up with?

We walk back together. Aleya went back to our tent grab his jacket and hers.

"Aleya."

"Hm?"

"How did you get his jacket?" I ask her curiously.

"Oh. Stacia and you were asleep so I went out to take a walk when I run into with Mus," Aleya explain.

"Did anything magical happen?" I ask her playfully.

"What the fuck? You are mess up. You are asking me this at 4:30 in the morning. I only got a hour of sleep and you are expecting me to process shit," Aleya said as she wrap her hand with a new wrap of bandage and wear a black hoodie over her head.

She was struggling and I just help her out a little. She grab Mustafa's jacket and I grab mine and we both head out down the hill.

"Here's your jacket. Thanks for yesterday," I saw a smile on Aleya's face.

"No problem. Now will you let me leave I have to wake up my friends," he left us.

"So what now?" Aleya asked me, looking at me with hopeful eyes. Like pranking someone or something.

"No, let's just watch the sky," I smile at her and her smile faded away.

"Tani!" I heard Stacia's voice from afar along with footsteps following her. I turn my head to face her.

"What?"

"Aleya's gone," Stacia said out of breath.

"She's right here," I pointed at the girl who was all cuddle up and sleeping soundly.

Stacia let go off her breath and the others just join us watching the sky.

But of course Anis being Anis. She decided to tease Aleya. She tried everything but it is almost impossible.
