Chapter one: Reality

I walked in the cold winter breeze, arms hanging lose by my side, a blanket of brisk snowflakes laid all around the park.

"Snow snow, go away, we don't want you here!" Miguel yelled into the blue sky.

"At least make it rhyme," I laughed breathing into my mitten.

"You're not my mom, Wren," he gave me a punch.

"Thank the Gods almighty for that, I mean who would ever want to be your mom! Like seriously, I feel so bad for your mom." I laughed myself away. Miguel and I continued to walked in laughter as we walked through the bitter coldness.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" A girl bumped into me spilling her drink all over to me. I sighed and looked into her eyes, she was filled with undeniable beauty.

"No, I'm sorry." I looked into her deep brown eyes.

"Sorry to ruin this, odd moment, but we have to go," Miguel pulled me away from her.
