Dear you

Dear you,
I'm sorry for the way you felt,
That night when I left you alone.
Who could've ever known?

The way you made me felt,
The night that we first met,
At that little gas station across my work,
I still remember your smirk.

The way you made me felt,
As the weeks past by,
The many nights at my house,
Then I started having doubts.

All of those late night conversations,
It felt like a waste.
After you said you wanted to leave,
All of those "I love you,".

I wanted to believe.

The way you made me felt,
The night you took my phone,
Scrolled through every name,
That's when I became the blame.

The way you made me felt,
The night you walked home,
While we were eating dinner,
I thought you were a winner.

The way you made me felt,
The day we went to the mall.
Tried on a dress for the first time.
You acted like it was a crime.

I'm sorry, for the way you felt.
The night I left you alone,
The night you pleaded for me to stay.
But I knew I had to go away.

All of those moments,
All of those conversations,
All of those I love yous
All of the I hate yous.

I knew you thought this was a game.
Now things will never be the same.
