In the summer of 2020 with the craziness in her life Emma a 15 year old 10th grader enter a poetry contest. In said poetry contest you get parried up on teams to edit and write poems together she gets paired up with a 16 year old girl. With high stakes a vacation to Jamaica and through poems and emails they find friendship and maybe something more

Often times self loving journey and healing are looked at as one simple move one can easily get it done quickly, this is one of the reasons why people quit and believe it's something they'll never be able to do. Here are some few pointers, that can potentially help someone with the reality of this journey. NB: I'm not an expert.

I used to believe in fairytales. Not the ones where the princess gets the prince, but the one where families' are whole. There is love. Parents stay together. People are happy. I used to pray for that fairytale the way some girls pray for their prince. I didn't need a Cinderella moment, I just wanted peace. But peace won't come from others living a life you deem perfect. Peace comes from living your life the way that makes you happy. He's not coming back, be at peace with that.
