"Hey, son"
"Hey, dad" Cameron replied.
"How was the flight?"
"Okay, I guess"
"Who's the guy you talked to few minutes ago?"
"He was sitting next to me on the airplane"
"So.. How are things going? Are you OK?"
"Dad, if it's about her, I don't want to talk about it. At least not now" Cam said to his dad.
They were driving to their new home. Cam was looking through the car window. It was getting darker outside.
"So.. Where are we going to live now? " Cam asked.
"It's a nice block. You'll like it. I think New York is where you belong. I've seen some kids with the same interest as you." Cameron's dad replied.
Cam didn't say a thing, but he knew he could be satisfied and happy only in his hometown. But in fact, he'd be happy anywhere as long as his loved ones are with him.
When Cam asked: "Are we there yet?", car stopped and Cam's dad smiled saying: "Yes, we are. Welcome to your new home".
They were in front of a huge building, might be some kind of a skyscraper. Cam was looking at his new 'house'.
''So, how do you like the building so far'' , his dad asked.
''Nothing can beat our house in California'' , Cam actually liked the building, but he wasn't so happy for moving here.
They climbed up and entered the apartment. It was big and had some cool furniture. A typical NYC apartment. His mum was waiting in the living room. They haven't seen each other for 2 weeks, because his parents left earlier to search for a place to live.
"Hey, honey. Come here, I missed you, you know?"
"Hi, mum. I missed you too" Cam said and hugged her.
"How are you, sweetheart? " she asked.
"I'm so tired. But I guess I'm ok.."
"You should get some rest, but first I have to show you something, follow me"
Cam followed his mom to some room. She opened the doors and said: "Are you ready to see your new room?"
Cameron was actually impressed. His room was so cool, he had a big bed and a huge TV in front of it, there was a special corner for video games and there was a big, empty space that still wasn't finished. It was Cam's job to finish it.
"Ohh, thanks mom, this room is awesome" he said and hugged his mother once again.
He took a shower in a super cool bathroom, in a thub with fancy buttons he didn't know how to use. He said good night to his parents and went to his room, jumped on the bed and after looking around the room finally closed his eyes. He fell asleep with only one thought on his mind. And it was you. Cameron was a sweet boy when it comes to love, he gets attached to a girl he likes fast, he's not like every other guy. He believed in true love and love at first sight. He believed in you. And he doubted that he'll find someone like you. He promised you will be the only thing he's thinking about. And he was keeping his promise so far.
..
Next morning, Cam woke up confused because he didn't realize at first where he was. Than it got to his head. He was 'home'. After breakfast, he got a mission to unpack his stuff which he never did immediatly after moving in.
"Cameron, today you and I are going out. I'm giving you a New York tour. Are you excited?"
"Yes, ofcourse" Cam answered. This was his first time in New York so he tryed to forget about his feelings for a second because he wanted to see how the city looks like when you visit it for the first time. While he was unpacking, he heard a beep on his phone. He got a text. His heart was beating so fast, even tho he didn't know what it said or who sent it. He opened it, hoping it was from you...
