More Than You

I'm Falling for You

We held hands all the way to his house. Not a word was spoken but that was ok because all I could focus on was the warmth.

I couldnt help but look at him, studying his features. His amber eyes that glimmer in the  sunlight, his honey skin, his lips that curve in a smile as he looks at me... he's looking at me!!!

"Uh- sorry for uh um staring- at you?" I said shamefully. He only let out a soft chuckle, sending my heart racing. " You were not the only one looking. I couldnt help myslelf." He said softly as he looked bashfully at me with those gorgeous amber hues. I cant belive I'm falling for him so quickly!! I'm a bit scared.

We finally make it to his house, hearts racing and blush covered faces. "My Ma and Pa are not home. So it will just you and me, ok?" "Um, yes." I can't help but feel nervous but nothing will happen, right?

We sling our shoes and coats off. Not giving them a second thought.
As he leads me to his room I look at my surroundings. Various of pictures were hung around but one grabbed my attention. It was David but he was a sweet little kid. Teeth missing as he smiles wide. I couldn't help but laugh.

This seems to grab Davids attention. "What is it?" "Haha you were so cute!❤" I looked at him, his face was many shades of red. Even cuter.

David rapidly looked the other way continueing our voyage to his room.

David opens his door to a somewhat neat room. We make our way to his blue colored bed. Once we sit down David looks nervously at me. "So-uh what do you want to do?" My heart raced. A flash of me and Stan pops up. I can't help but feel guilty. " Why dont we watch somthing?" Oh-ok!"

He pulls out his phone as he rolls over to lay down. Crawling over, I also lay down on my tummy. We layed there watching some show that kept both of entertained. Though I can't help but blush at the thought of lying so close to him. In that mass of time we must have fell a sleep because I just woke up and we're spooning!

His arms wrapped around me while my face is in his chest. Honey and sugar. Honey and sugar fills my nostrils. I love this. I find myself holding tighter, taking his warmth in.

I feel him stir awake. I look up at him smiling. His eyes glazed from sleep but his lips curved perfectly into a smile. I pick his phone up checking the time. "It's 2:45... I should hed home. My mom will blow my ears off." "Oh.. So soon. I thought maybe you would like to go somewhere?" I think for just a second, I wouldnt mind my ears blowing off if I can spend more time with him. "yeah, I would love to go with you." We grin at each other as we head down to slip our shoes and coats back on.

We hop outside, hands interlocked and our hearts thumping crazy. We begin our walk. Heading somewhere?

As we get closer I notice we are going back to Starks Pond. Once we get there we sit on the bench that faces the pond. We sit close to each other my hand resting on top of his. " I'm really glad you asked me out, David." I say laying my head on his shoulder. "Me, too. I was sure you would have said no. I guess thats what I love about you, you surprise me over and over again." I snap my head up at hearing those words. 'Love.' With out a second to say something David says " You dont have to say you love me right now, but I hope one day you feel the same." I look in his eyes, " I can't say that I love you right now but I know that I'm falling for you. Falling quite fast at that."

We inch closer our lips finally touching. A too short but gentle kiss filled me with bliss. I lay my head back on his shoulder as I squeeze his hand. We stare at the pond in a loving embrace.
