"Finally, after waiting so long for love to give you a chance, we've come to this, happily married, with a happy family."

"Nathan, where are your sisters?" Kylie asked her eight years old son, the boy looked at his mom.

"Mommy, I can't find them. Ate said na hindi nila ako iiwan." Nathan answered with a sad voice. After he said that, giggles where heard from the corner or more specifically, under the staircase.

"Love, asan sina Athena?" Ruru who just came in the living room asked, because he too heard the small laughter.

"Nathan, maybe your Ate and baby Liah are playing pranks on you." Kylie explained as she pointed under their staircase.

The boy quickly run to where the laughed was coming from and Ruru sat beside Kylie on the couch.

"Ang laki na nila noh?" Kylie said whilst resting her head on Ruru's shoulder and hugging his arm.

Ruru smiled at her. "Yeah... Ang tagal na nating magkasama, best choice of my life." He answered and kissed her forehead lovingly. She also smiled at him, watching Nathan and Liah play.

Since Athena is already fourteen, she has a phase where she said she can do things her own and doesn't have to always be guided. But that's how teens are.

Nathan is their second child or their first biological child. But Kylie and Ruru treasured and loved Athena so much, they treated her as their first born.

While, Liah is the youngest among the three, she is only five years old, just like Athena when she was little. Liah is also a smart one.

So, you can say their kids may not know many things, but they are too smart to be lied upon.

"Love, mahal na mahal din kita. I guess I never regretted saving my love for you nung nakaraan." Kylie said and she rested her head on his shoulder.

A comfortable silence has been passing the atmosphere. Ruru adjusted his position.

"Ky, I have a something for you..." He said as he looked at her eyes lovingly.

"Para saan?" Kylie asked confused, this day was like the others. So it confused her since their anniversary just passed.

"Hindi naman kailangan ng occasion para iparamdam ko sa'yo kung paano kita kamahal." He stated 'as a matter of fact'. Cliche as it is, but it was also sweet if you know what it feels like.

"Corny mo ahh. What's your gift?" Kylie asked as she took out her hands.

He smirked at her. "You'll need to be blindfolded. Like old times." With his grin, he handed her a blindfold and signalled her to wear it.

"Wag kang masaya ahh. Dapat wala kang nakikita." Ruru said as Kylie completely tied the knot of the blindfold.

"Done..."

"I'll guide you, para hindi ka madapa." He said as he took her hand in his and lend her to walk with him somewhere.

"Malapit na ba tayo?" She asked as she felt steps going down and after that she felt grass on the edges of her slippers.

He didn't answer her question. He just held the knot, ready to pull it anytime now.

"One.., Two.., Three!" People shouted as he took off her blindfold and her eyes were blinded by colorful lights for a second. When her vision cleared, she put her hands on her lips in shock.

"SURPRISE!!!"

Ruru caressed her back and smiled. "Sana nagustuhan mo." He whispered at her. Kylie glanced at him and immediately hugged him. He heard her sobs and smiled knowing she was happy.

"Of course, nagustuhan ko." Kylie answered. Shouts was heard from their children who were each holding blue roses and Athena held a banner saying "I Love You" with a picture of all of them together.

There were also a table for all of them with their favorite food on the table. Lights were around the garden and pink tulips and blue roses were scattered around.

It was beautiful.

To others, it might look cheesy and simple. But to them and most especially to Kylie, she loved every effort they had.

"Thank you, Ruru." She said as she finally let go of the hug. Athena, Nathan and Liah went to them and hugged them both.

"Daddy's so sweet, Mommy." Nathan said and gave the blue rose to Kylie. And of course, they would know what her favorite color is. Their father would tell them every fact about her.

"Kayo talaga, kahit wala namang occasions, you all still do this for me." Kylie said while smiling at all of them with tears on her cheeks, and they were obviously tears of joy.

"Actually, Love. Today is the exact date nung nakilala kita when we were College. Hindi ko naman yon makakalimutan." Ruru stated, making Kylie's smile bigger, he remembered the smallest details and it felt good.

Because it means that he loves her so much... And that will never ever change.

I'm sorry I've not been able to update my story, I'm just really lazy and when I'm not lazy I have school work and when I don't have school work, I get writers block and I also have a lot of brain farts...

But this is it, ang happy not really ending ng ating parental na si Kylie Padilla and Ruru Madrid.

Ang saya at nakaka-heartwarming na may mga nagbabasa pa rin kahit na hindi ako makapag-update at hindi gano'n kaganda yung story ko.
