At Kylie's Office
     She was seated at her chair when somebody knocked on her office door.

     And then he/she entered. It was...

     "Ruru? Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Kylie asked confusely. Ruru walked closer to her desk.

     "May sasabihin lang ako sa'yo, Kylie." Ruru smiled at her. She did the same.

     "What is it?" Kylie asked. She stood up straight.

     "Iimbitahan ka sana namin kahapon nung nasa resto tayo pero..." Ruru was interrupted by another waloing inside.

     "Mommy!" A girl said and run up to Kylie and hugged her.

     Kylie smiled to the girl and knelt to level with the girl.

     "Hello, sweetie." She greeted sweetly at the girl.

     "May...anak ka na pala, Kylie?" Ruru smiled and looked at the girl.

     "Um... Oo, four years old pa lang siya." Kylie answered still looking at the girl. She stood up again and loooed at Ruru.

     "You were saying?" Kylie asked again to him.

     "Invitation...for my engagement party bukas." Ruru answered. Kylie remembered, she knew that that's why he left.

      "Ikakasal ka na, Ru? T..that's great. I'm happy for you." Kylie said and deep inside she knew she was lying to him and herself when she said she was happy for him.

     "Ikaw, Kylie. Ikinasal ka na din pala. You already have a daughter." Ruru smiled at her and the cute girl.

     He saw the little girl's forhead creased. "Mommy only has me. She's not married." The girl said.

     Ruru looked at Kylie again and he saw her laugh. "Totoo ang sinasabi niya, Ruru. I'm actually not married to anyone at all." Kylie explained. Ruru got confuse.

     "Pero paano ka nagkaanak?" Ruru asked her confusely.

     "Mommy said I'm a gift from Papa Jesus." The girl smiled and Kylie laughed again. He doesn't get it.

     "Mamaya ko na sasabihin sa'yo, Ruru." Kylie said to him and he nodded.

     "Ano nga palang pangalan niya, Ky?" Ruru asked her again. That's right, she forgot to introduce her.

     "I'm Athena Nicolette Padilla." Athena answered him instead of Kylie. Ruru can see in her an independent girl.

     He smiled at the girl one last time before looking at Kylie again. "I have to go. Sana makapunta ka bukas, Ky." Ruru smiled and left her office.

     "Mommy, who is he? Am i going to have a Daddy now?" Athena asked immediately to her mother.

     "Ikaw talaga, sweetie. Kaibigan lang siya ni Mommy." Kylie answered and sat on her seat.

     Athena went cliser to her. "Mommy, i knew...I'm adopted." She dropped the words and Kylie looked at her little baby who looked down.

     "Baby, i already told you...." Kylie said to her. Athena's small hands rested on Kylie's knee.

     "Mommy, I love you po." Athena smiled to Kylie, very cutely. Kylie smiled at her daughter.

     Kylie understand Athena's pain because she already told her that she was adopted. And Athena didn't take it calmly. Kylie saw her crying like she's being pulled to hell when she told her.

     "I love you din. Remember ah, it's not where you came from, it's where you belong." Kylie comforted Athena and hugged her tightedly.

     "Gabbi, ready ka na ba para bukas?" Sandra sked her friend.

     Gabbi sighed. "Hindi ko alam. I'm being forced to do this. Papakaslan ko si Ruru para lang dito sa company na 'to. I liked him before, but i don't love him at all, Sandra."
