Chapter 10 (Mary Hook)

The Month of October started off good. And then came Hallows Eve. In case yeh didn't know what Hallows Eve is, its a big celebration where little kids dress up as their parents and they are supposed to go around their neighboorhood asking for tricks and treats. I used to dress up as me dad all the time. At Happily Ever/Never After High, we have to dress up as our parents, make a big presentation in front of the whole school, and our parents come. At the end, there is a big Hallows Eve party for both schools. As my dad and I walked into the auditorium, Coral and her mother came up to us.Coral looked exactly like Ursula. She was wearing a big, black gown and had her hair up into a bun-braid. Her mom looked exactly like her, except that she had white hair. "Ahh, this must be the pretty young lady Mary told me about." my father, the great Captain Hook, said. Coral blushed and replied, "Thank you sir. This is my mother, the most feared villain in the sea, Ursula." Ursula nodded and smiled,"Mary, my daaarling you look exactly like your father." She had a slight drawl to her voice. "Students please get ready to present your projects," a voice said over the intercom. As our parents left to take their seats I said to Coral,"Yeh look exactly like your mom." She shrugged and said,"This gown really itches. I don't know how my mom wears these all day." I nodded. "You look funny wearing your dad's coat," Coral giggled. "What did you do for a presentation?" I said,"I made a model of my father's ship and crew. I'll present that." "I made a big poster about all the heroes my mom has captured and tortured." she said. Telling from how big the poster was, I'm guessing Ursula caught a lot of heroes. "Mary Hook" the intercom said. I walked on stage and said, "My name is Mary Hook, and I am the daughter of the great Captain Hook, raider of a hundred ships." I set my model ship down and proceeded to tell all about it and my fathers crew. When I was done I said" I thank yeh very much." Coral looked at me like I was a model. "Wow! you totally killed it out there!" she said. "Coral" the intercom said. "Here I go" she said. As she stepped on the platform, all the lights immediately turned off. What was supposed to be a peaceful presentation, turned into a room full of chaos.
