We were not expecting something waiting for us at the mouth of the cave. We were not expecting a huge blue dragon to attack us. And when I say huge, I mean HUGE. The blue dragon spit blue fire at us."Ready, and duck!" Kate yelled. i looked up to Amina and shouted,"Now!" Amina yelled,"LAUNCH!!" A volley of arrows flew out and sank into the dragon's neck. It roared and stopped over our front line. Teachers ran in all directions forgetting what they were supposed to do. Ms.Lambrini shouted,"Axes, forward." The 10 teachers with axes charged and sank into the dragons leg. green slime began oozing from the wound. "We're weakening it!"Kate shouted. One last time we charged the dragon. We were just about to strike one last time when someone shouted,"Wait!" It was Mary with......was that the red dragon that attacked our school?"Mary!" Amina cried out with relief. Mary smiled and laughed,"It's me all right. These dragons don't want to hurt us. They want to be our friends. I say they can be our guard dragons. Redneck here can protect our school..." Kate looked up at the blue dragon who nuzzled her. She said,"And I think Bluefire should be our guard dragon." I said,"Well, if you say it's okay, then I say it's okay." "Wait one minute, how do we know these dragons won't terrorize our school?" Asked Ms.Tiptop. The dragons looked at her with their big eyes and made a deep rumble in their throats. "Hmmmmm, maybe they won't eat us...." She said thoughtfully.

It's mid November now, and we have to new guard dragons. After what happened a couple of weeks ago, everybody seemed a little more jumpy, but okay. We found out that Blondielocks and her little friend Little Sue Peep had woken up the dragon and go for our scent. "You girls will forever be banished from this school!" Mr.Grimm, our principal and president had said. The school year was turning out great. And I had 3 new friends to enjoy it with.
