When I wake up Im being shaken. I open up my eyes to see my dad. I was kinda annoyed speaking that I was still completely exhausted.

"Olivia, we're going home."

"What do you mean?"

"I meant exactly what I just said. We're going home."

"Now?"

"Yes now. Get up and let's go."

I get up and follow my dad tried out to the car. Once we get home I go slowly up the stairs until I get to my room. I fall down on my bed and pass back out again.

When I Wake up I can smell grilled cheese sandwiches. I roll out of bed and get ready for the day. I make my way downstairs where I see my dad in the kitchen at the stove. THere were two sandwiches on each plate. He hands a plate to me and I follow to the counter. I climb up onto the stool right next to him.

"So...I needed to talk to you about something."

"What is it?" I say before taking a bite.

"Well...we aren't going to be staying here anymore. Were going to be moving and now before you can ask anything I need to explain it all."

I just nod my head wondering what could he polibally say.

"I have joined the Air Force. I have had all the training done awhile again and just lately I decided to go and actually join fully. That's why I have been gone so often..." he says while fading off.

"So where are we moving?"

"To Alaska."

"To what?! Isn't that in the middle of nowhere in the snow where it snows all the time?! We can't possibly go there!"

"First of all it does not snow there all the time and yes we can go there. I won't make you go. If you want you can stay here. It's your choice."

"First of all I was over exaggerating the part about the snow...and...I don't think I would want to stay here without you...I just dont think I'm quite ready yet."

"I understand....we will be leaving after that hang out you guys were doing for the graduates."

"But that gives me two weeks! What about Alex?!"

"I know...you're gonna have to figure that one out on your own. You luckily won't be needing much to bring because I'm not selling the house. We'll probably end up at a hotel. I'll help make sure you have everything you need."

I just stay silent. I get up taking my food with me into my room. I just needed quiet to thing. I couldn't believe that this was happening. I had only two weeks to figure out what I was going to do. Either break it off or try to stay together.

I was hoping that those two weeks would go by slowly but it didn't. I had watched the movers take the boxes out to the truck on moving dad. To see the truck pull away knowing that some of your stuff was in there wasn't a great thought. Knowing that you wouldn't see it again until you got to your new place. It wasn't a home it was a place. This here is home.
