Back And Better

The kiss. The passion. Her soft touch. It's all magical. It made me fall to sleep in a peaceful way. For many hours I've been staying awake and crying in my bed, I can throw away my depression and think about Riley.

When I woke up, instead of staying in bed, I quickly threw some clothes on and grabbed my things. I don't care if anyone laughs or taunts at me, I have to stay happy today and ignore the people that try to make me look like something different.

I ran down the stairs and saw a plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon on the table. Logan was sitting on the chair across from the one I always sit. My parents were sitting at the end of each table. I smiled and sat on my chair.

"Good morning, sweetie." said Mom.

"Morning everybody." I pick up my fork and started eating my breakfast. I went for the pancakes first.

"I thought you were gonna stay in bed." said Logan with his mouth full.

"Yeah, but I'm gonna work it out today."

"Proud of you sweetheart." said Dad.

"Thanks Dad."

"Steve do you have to work tomorrow?" asked Mom.

"Yes and I have to work through the whole week." They started to have a conversation while it leaves me and Logan.

"Did they find out about the party," I whispered, ignoring Mom and Dad's conversation.

"I burned the trash bags."

"You are a fucking rockstar." I held out my fists waiting for a fist bump. My clenched his fist and gave me small fist bump.

After eating my delicious breakfast, I got up from the chair and dropped my dishes into the sink.

"Bye Mom. Bye Dad." I said, kissing them both on the cheek. "Bye sweetie."

When I walked outside, Zoey's car was parked in the road. I smiled as she beeped the car horn. I walked to the car and Valentina was sitting in the front seat which I always sit.

"And the most hottest bitch in the world walks forward." said Zoey.

"Hey guys."

"Hurry up. We're going to be late." said Zoey.

"Valentina, you're sitting in my seat."

"This is my seat now. From now on, you're sitting beside your girlfriend." I looked in the backseat and saw Riley and Kayla sitting beside each other. Riley looked at me and smiled.

"Thanks V." I opened the car door and sat really close to Riley. When I closed the car door, she held my hand so tight.

"Hey Riley."

"Hey Emma. You look pretty." Even though I look like I just got out of bed after a long time.

"Thanks." She leaned towards me and touched her lips with mine. The girls screamed in excitement as if we were celebrities. She smiled as she looked into my eyes.

"Okay, you guys are literally the world's cutest couple." said Kayla. We didn't say anything, we just smiled.

"Yeah, you guys are better than Justin and Selena." said Zoey.

"All right enough with the couple shit." said Riley.

When we got to the school, everyone started staring at us and especially me. I just kept smiling and walking in the hallway with the girls while holding Riley's hand.

"I can't believe she came back today." said a blonde girl in a blue shirt.

"Yeah, she's back." said Zoey. "And so are we."

"Oh my God, is she a lesbian now?"

"Fuck off, Johnson!" yelled Kayla. "Let's go bitches."

We walked in the hallway while Riley's hand intertwined with mine. Hair bouncing. Nothing but 3 friends and two lovers feeling good and shameless. The Single/Not Single Ladies Club is back together. Back and better than ever.
