It's been a week since Ava discovered she's pregnant with Daniel's baby.
And for the whole week, Ava has been contemplating what to do about the situation. Abortion wasn't an option, she could never bring herself to abort hers and Daniel's baby.
She was confused, not knowing what to do about the baby. No way was she gonna tell Daniel that she's expecting his baby. How could she?, when Daniel can't even remember they had slept together.
If she decides to have the baby without telling Daniel that he's the father, what would she tell her parents?. They would be disappointed in her and ask her about the baby's dad, a question she can never answer.
Right now, Ava is not only worrying about herself but also the baby, which is her utmost priority now. She would never want to subject her child through shame.
Because if her parents finds out about her pregnancy and asks her who is responsible, Ava will have to say she doesn't know the baby's father.
Ava sweeps her fingers through her hair, then got up from her bed which she had been sitting on and start pacing around the room.
Ava couldn't help thinking how things would have turned out if only Daniel had remembered. Would he have been happy that she was carrying his child?.
She would never get to know the answer to the question, but one thing she knew was that if Daniel had remembered, she wouldn't have to be the only one looking for a way out. She knew her Danny would never abandon her.
Even if he was not in love with her, he still cares about her deeply.
And she can only pray that Daniel remembers, so he could help her out of this mess she's in.
Ava was still pacing back and front in her room, pondering on how her life has changed and what she was gonna do about her present situation, when the housekeeper knocked on her door.
She immediately sat down on her bed, she didn't want Magdalene to see her standing and looking troubled.
"Your mom wants you down for dinner." Magdalene said as soon as she heard Ava ask her to come in.
"Alright, I will be down shortly." Ava replied.
If there was one good thing that happened over the weekend, it was that Ava got her appetite back. Should I say got her appetite back or that she had to force herself to eat because of the baby.
No matter what, Ava doesn't want her baby to starve. So Ava stood up, went straight to her mirror and made sure she was okay and that there was nothing that will give her away, then she left her room and made her way downstairs to the dinning table.
"Hey baby, come sit down, dinner is served." Kimberly said as soon as Ava walked in.
"Hi mom. Hi dad." Ava greeted wearing a sweet smile.
"So dear, I guess your mom already told you about our little vacation?" Donald asked Ava as soon as Ava was seated.
"Of course I already told her." Kimberly said looking happy.
"We hope you can come with us, it's supposed to be a family vacation. But Daniel is so busy and can't make it." Donald said.
Ava saw the hope in both her parents face and she hate to disappoint them. But she couldn't go on the vacation not even if she wanted to.
If she stays to close to her parents they would easily figure out her pregnancy. So she has to keep them at bay until she figures out the step she should take.
"That's the thing dad, I don't think I will join you guys for this vacation, what do you think about another vacation?" Ava said.
Kimberly was a bit disappointed, she really wished her baby girl could join them, the vacation was decided because of her. Seeing her girl hasn't been in the best mood since her birthday, she wanted to let her free her mind from whatever is bothering her.
