AVA's Little Secret

Chapter 15

Danel has still not received a call about his princess. It's been 2weeks since the announcement and the announcement was also online. He has tried all he could., but he refuse to give up.

He knows his PI is still searching for Ava and he also knows that very soon he will receive a positive call. He just have to be patience.

It's been 4months, and Ava now has a big bump. She has succeeded in hiding from her family and she's very happy with the Grays.

Her pregnancy so far was going smoothly, though lately she feels pains below her abdomen, but it disappears as fast as it came and that's why she didn't pay much attention to it.

She was just serving dinner when the pain hit her again, this time it was severe and before she knew what she was doing, she let go of the plate in her hand, which fell down and shattered to pieces, the shattering sound filled the whole house.

Ashton was coming downstairs when he heard the loud sound. When he looked down he saw Ava. Without thinking twice he quickly ran down to where she stood clutching her stomach in pain.

"What's wrong?" he asked her, his voice laced with worry and filled with panic.

"..." no response.

"Come on say something, don't scare me this way." he asked again.

He gently helped her to the sitting room where she relaxed. Before long Ava's face relaxed because she felt relieved.

Seeing her relax, Ashton relieved the breath he never knew he was holding.

"Is it the pains again?" he asked her.

This time Ava nodded.

"But it's never hurt you like this before, we have to see your doctor. Let me get my phone so I can call him."

"No don't."

"But why, you are supposed to let your doctor know what is going on with you, to avoid problems and complications."

"I will be fine Ashton. Beside my appointment is scheduled for Wednesday, which is next tomorrow. When I get there I will tell him what has been going on with me. No need to panic."

"I'm really scared, I don't want anything to happen to you or the baby."

"I will be fine, I promise."

Ashton pulled her close to him and inhaled her scent before he placed a kiss on her hair.

"You know, it's not long again before the baby's arrival."

"I know." she said.

"Don't you think it time to let your family know?. Especially your brother?. The baby is his and he has every right to know about it's existence. Trust me, they won't be happy if they come to know you kept this huge secret from them."

"They would never know, I don't intend to go back home, not now, not ever."

"That's a huge risk you are taking. You know there are 3 things that cannot be long hidden. The Sun ☀ , the Moon 🌙  and the Truth. No matter how hard it tries to be concealed, it must later be revealed."

"I cannot face my parents or Danny. And I hope this truth will never get to them."

"Let's hope so."
