Chapter 21

"Flying kiss was just a single dose, but it'll work till midnight only.." Manik texted nandini while enjoying their sangeet.

The cruise was decorated with white lilies and purple curtain ribbons, snow flake hangings and the love and laughter spread across the hall.

Sangeet was on full swing. Everybody was dancing and enjoying untill a loud thud disturbed everyone.

Everyone turned and yelled "Manik.."

Nandini rushed to him and held his hand. He was stinking as if he was over drunk.

"Dude.. Why did you slap me?" Harshad asked him holding his collar.

"Leave him harshad.." Cabir jerked his hand. "Take it easy.. Aisa bhi kya keh diya ki ye ladkiyon ki tarah ro raha hai.."

Manvik & Nyo held manik and Nandini went to grab some water for manik. She handed him the glass but he jerked her hand and spitted fire "mujhe tumse kuch nai chahiye.. Dur raho mujhse.. You cheat!!"

Nandini and others were shocked to hear this from him. Nandini's eyes were filled with tears as in how can he, her prince, her Mani can say these things to her.

Sakshi and Ananya held her as she was in a shock.

"Manik.." DJ yelled him. "Ye kya tarika hai Nandini se baat karne ka.. kya hua hai tujhe.."

"Ha buddy.. Kuch toh bol" Dhruv asked him from his back.

Clearing his throat and adjusting his blazer he said, "I have to say something.."

"Bolo na Mani.. Kya hua hai.. I am there with you!", Said nandini wiping her tears and thinking it as a stupid mischief of her Mani.

Manik was looking to the otherside but Nandini and Maddy sensed something fishy and weird. As Manik was looking somewhere near the railings of the ship and sweat beads appeared on his forehead.

"Bolo bacha.. Kya hua tumhe achanak.." This Manvik too concerned about his kid's sudden rude behaviour towards his love.

Nandini was waiting for him to say, but he was lost in his own thoughts. She wanted to read his eyes, but he was looking everywhere but her.

Sighing and taking a deep breathe he left saying, "Mujhe ye SHAADI nahi karni.. Stop all this non-sense.."

And Nandini couldn't take it. She rushed behind him calling, "Manik.. Listen to me.. Manik.. Wait.. Please Jaan wait na.." But he was fast with his pace, before she could reach him he closed himself behind his room door.

Everyone came behind Nandini and she behind him. But he was not at all ready to listen to anybody. He was in his own dilemma of doing a this to his Princess, his star, his heartbeat.

She was banging his door to talk but he wasn't giving any heed to her.

"Manik pls na.. Suno na ek baar.. Btao aisa kya kiya hai maine ki tumhe mujhse shaadi hi nai karni.." She pleaded and Navya was there wiping her tears and holding her. Nandini fell down on her knees crying with a thud..

"Kio.." Arya rushed to hold her. "Sambhal khud ko.."

"Arya, maddy please na.. Dekho na vo.. Vo aisa kyu bol raha hai.. Pucho usse.." holding arya's collar she banged his chest and everyone else were in a shock of Manik's sudden announcement.
