Luka lived in a small kingdom with her sister Meiko, who looked very different from her. Luka was a beautiful young lady with long pink hair and the most stunning blue eyes anyone has ever seen. She went to go see her friend Miku who was very liking towards Luka. Miku looked out the window in her house and saw the grand castle in view. "Don't you wish you could go to the ball at that castle?" Asked Miku.
"Yeah," said Luka, "but Meiko doesn't let me. That and I can't afford a gown since Meiko spends most of the money at the old bar."
Meiko was an alcoholic but Luka didn't mind living with her. It got loud at times, but Luka lived through it. Luka and Miku went into town to buy some food. While they separated, Luka went to a bakery that was run by an old woman. "Hello dear," said the old woman, "Are you here for some bread?"
Luka smiled and she said, "I may as well, and some hot cross buns too!"
The old lady went to the oven and took out some fresh baked goods and wrapped them up in a cloth. "Here you are darling." Said the old woman.
Luka smiled and paid for the goods. She met back with Miku and continued with their day.

At the castle sat the purple haired Prince. He was very frustrated at the moment. A servant with blonde hair came to him and said, "Milord, you do know the grand ball is in a few days. You should be ready."
"What's the point, Len?" Asked the Prince, "Every year, I hold a grand ball, and there is no woman who fancies me. I look very different from all the women in the land. I'm the only one with purple hair."
"Well, my sister and I are the only ones with yellow hair." Said Len.
"If it weren't for me, you and Rin would be dead as soon as you got found." Said the Prince.
"You're right." Said Len.
"Be sure everything is set well. I'm not letting this year end empty handed!" Said the Prince. "I need a bride to spend eternity with. Too long I've been without a bride."
A girl ran in the throne room who looked similar to Len and she had an envelope on a tray. "Your majesty, a message!" She said.
"Thank you Rin." Said the Prince.
He picked up the letter that said: For Prince Gakupo.
He read the letter and it said,
Prince Gakupo,
I look foreward to coming to your royal ball again this year and I'm bringing my beautiful daughter with me. You're running out of time to get a bride, and I assure you, by the time you see my daughter, you will want to marry her.
-Lord Zeito
Gakupo huffed and said, "Like that will ever happen."
Rin and Len left the Prince to do his work.

Luka and Miku returned to Luka's house and they decided to eat the goods they got. Meiko came downstairs and barked, "Luka! Where have you been?"
"I was spending time with Miku." Said Luka.
"Whatever, I'm going to the bar." Said Meiko.
She left the house leaving the two girls alone. "I wish I could go to the ball!" Said Luka.
"Me too!" Said Miku.
"If only Meiko let me go." Said Luka.
She numerously asked Meiko if she could go, but Meiko always said no. "I'll find some way to go." Said Luka. "I'm gonna take a walk and think about it."
Luka walked out the door and began to take her walk. While she walked, a familiar voice said, "Oh hello dear!"
Luka looked over and saw...
