Met by Moonlight (Vampire Gakupo x Luka)

Miku waited anxiously for Luka's return. It was after midnight, and she wasn't back yet. "If I don't come back by midnight, come find me." Luka's words buzzing through Miku's head.

Miku decided to go out and find her friend. That was when, Meiko barged into Miku's house and screamed, "Is Luka still here?! She should have been back hours ago!"

"I'm going out to look for her now." Said Miku.

"Miku, are you hiding something?" Asked Meiko. "Luka went to that ball, didn't she?!"

"She just had to! I'm sorry!" Cried Miku.

"You know the reason why I didn't want her to go to the ball?" Asked Meiko.

"Why?"

"Every year, dozens, maybe hundreds of vampires go to that castle to be engaged to the Prince. That's why everyone around here tries to avoid going to the ball!" Explained Meiko.

"Oh no," gasped Miku, "Luka could be in danger!"

"And it's a full moon, so who knows what's gonna happen!" Cried Meiko.

"How do we save her?" Asked Miku looking out the window, "The gates are shut!"

Meiko filled in on a plan.

Luka woke up and she didn't recognize her surroundings. She was on a soft bed. She got up and looked out the window and saw all the vampires go in their carriages. "Meiko was right." Thought Luka, "I shouldn't have come here."

She tried to open the door to leave the room, but it was locked. So until someone comes, she was trapped. That was when she heard a voice shout, "You let a human in the castle?!"

"She won't be human for long." She heard Gakupo say, "And after she's been turned, she will be my wife."

Turned?! Luka might become a vampire! There was no room for escape. The door was locked, and the window was too small. She removed her headpiece and set it on the bed. She heard the jingling of keys at the door, and she froze up. The door opened and it was the Prince himself. "Looks like someone's finally awake." He said.

"What do you want?!" Gasped Luka.

"He inched closer and closer to Luka and he said, "I came to see you my sweet."

"Why me?" Asked Luka, "You could have picked a pureblood vampire, yet you choose a human like me!"

"You won't be a human for long my dear." Said Gakupo. "Remember how I said the others looked all the same? Well, when I'm finished with you, you'll be another one of them, but with your beautiful pink hair."

"What are you gonna do to me?" Gasped Luka.

"Just simply bite you, then when the clock strikes midnight, you'll be turned. And so you know, there's a lunar eclipse so if a human is turned into a vampire on the night of a lunar eclipse, they will be marked as a special one." He explained.

"When's the eclipse?" Asked Luka.

"Tomorrow night. I guess I can wait a little while longer." He said. "Until then..."

He went in for Luka's neck, and tried to drink her blood. She pushed him away and cried, "Get away from me you monster!"

"Tsk tsk tsk. Naughty girl." Said Gakupo.

He grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her onto the bed. He got on top of her and sat on her fluffed up dress. "Guess I'll have to do it by force." He said.

He pinned her arms down and went in for her neck again. He took a bite and it caused Luka to let out a cry. He continued to suck her neck and with every moment, she felt like she was going to pass out. She was completely powerless against him and in an instant, she blacked out.

In the kitchen, Miku and Meiko were making a remedy in case Luka was turned into a vampire. Meiko had a pot on the stove and began to stir the ingredients. She added a small amount of holy water and crushed up garlic cloves. "Now how do we get to the castle?" Asked Miku.

"We round up an angry mob as a distraction, and when we get in, we go find Luka." Explained Meiko. "And we should do it quickly. There's an old legend that says if a human is turned into a vampire on the night of a lunar eclipse, they will be marked as a cursed one. Vampires say they're special, but it's really a curse in human opinion."

"Now how will this remedy work on the bitten?" Asked Miku.

"When a human is bitten, vampire DNA is running through their body and when it's midnight, it will take affect and replace human DNA with vampire DNA. If this holy water mixture is in the body before midnight, it can kill the vampire DNA and restore the original DNA." Meiko added.

"How do you know all this?" Asked Miku.

"A friend of mine and I tried to save one of our friends who got bitten, but it was too late." Said Meiko sadly. "And...done! The remedy is finished!"

Meiko took a couple of viles and filled them with the holy water solution. "I just hope it's not too late." Said Meiko.
