Met by Moonlight (Vampire Gakupo x Luka)

The carriage arrived at the castle and Luka went to the entrance putting on her mask. The guards eyed up her pink hair and purple clothes, but they let her in anyway. Luka went down the halls, and into the ballroom. It was quite different than expected. All the men and women wore the same colors! All wore black and red! Luka stuck out like a sore thumb since she was the only vibrantly colored woman in the castle. All the other guests just stared at her. "Oh no," thought Luka, "did I wear the wrong clothes? Was there a theme?!"

She saw a large array of food on the banquet table and there was a large variety of meat and a bowl of red punch. She took a glassful of the drink and tasted it. "Ugh!" Thought Luka, "I thought this was going to be high quality! Guess not. The meat is pretty good though."

Through the night, other people were staring at Luka. "Should I leave?" She thought, "No! I've gone this far! I'm not stopping now!"

Gakupo watched the guests and noticed a pink haired woman in a purple gown! "Maybe I'm not the only one with vibrant hair!" Thought Gakupo.

He slowly walked down from his throne and everyone in his way bowed before him. He approached the pink haired maiden and their eyes locked together.

Luka paused as the Prince looked at her. He wore a black and purple suit and he had long purple hair and he also wore a mask as well. "And who might you be?" Asked the Prince.

"Um...Megurine Luka, your majesty!" Said Luka taking a courtesy.

The music started playing and it sounded different than what normal ballroom music sounded like. "Prince Gakupo, my lady." He said, "May I have this dance?"

Everyone looked jealously at Luka and Gakupo as they danced. Luka tried her best to keep up with dancing, but she wasn't a good dancer. "You're quite different from all these people!" Said Gakupo.

"Is that a bad thing?" Asked Luka nervously.

"Not at all! I'm glad I'm not the only one with colorful hair! Aside from my two blonde servants." He said.

They continued to dance and the music stopped playing. It went quiet. "This girl is quite the lady." Thought Gakupo.

Everyone else went on with their mingling. Luka looked down shyly and said, "Thank you for dancing with me."

"May I take a walk with you?" Asked Gakupo.

"S-sure." Stuttered Luka.

They took a walk around the castle, and Luka still looked at Gakupo's black mask on his face. They went into the courtyard, and it was well planted. The moon was full, and it shined on the two. "You look absolutely beautiful this evening." Said Gakupo quietly.

Luka smiled shyly at Gakupo and said, "Thank you."

Gakupo took a lock of Luka's curled haired and said, "Is your hair naturally this color?"

"Yes." She said.

"I got a terrible disease that made my hair turn purple permanently. The others don't like it and that's why I don't get a bride so easily." Explained Gakupo.

"I think it looks lovely!" Said Luka happily.

The clock struck midnight and she said, "I need to go!"

"Is your dress going to turn back into rags like in the fairy tales?" Asked Gakupo.

"No, it's just getting late." Said Luka.

"Before you decide to go, let me give you my gratitude." Said Gakupo, "Close your eyes." He added softly.

Luka closed her eyes and Gakupo moved her hair away. He smelled her a little, and instead of a kiss like Luka expected, she felt a pierce in her neck! Luka opened her eyes and Gakupo pulled her in more. He continued to suck her neck and she managed to push him away. She saw his sharp teeth and red eyes and she gasped horrified. "Y-you're a v-vampire?!" Gasped Luka.

He removed his mask and said, "You aren't? No wonder your blood tastes so sweet."

Horrified, Luka tried to run away, but Gakupo grabbed her wrist and carefully removed her mask, revealing her appearance. "Beautiful..." he said lustfully.

She broke free and ran away from him. "Luka! Come back here at once!" He yelled.

Gakupo ran to one of his guards and ordered, "Close the gates! Do not let anyone leave! If you see a pink haired girl in a purple gown, bring her to me at once!"

Luka ran through the ballroom, and all the guests saw her running. The puncture in her neck caught the other's senses. They all glared at her with glowing red eyes, fangs at the mouth. "They're all vampires?!" Thought Luka.

She ran as fast as she could, but the exits were closing off! "That's her!" Shouted one guard.

Acting fast, Luka ran to a window and managed to break it and get out without a cut. She landed on the soft ground and saw the main entrance was closed off. She was trapped. "Where did she go?!" A voice shouted.

"She jumped out that window sire!" Shouted a guard.

Luka made a run for it, and she decided to hide in the garden. Gakupo went out the shattered window and began to chase her again. She ran as fast as she could, and she found a maze. She ran into it so the Gakupo might pass. But, he saw her go in. "So," he said, "You want to play in the maze huh?"

He entered the maze in search for his human.

Luka ran confusidly in the maze and tried to hide. Then, she heard Gakupo enter the maze. Panicked, she ran through it and tried to find an escape route. She ran as fast as she could, but she hit a dead end! "I'm trapped!" Thought Luka.

Before she could run, Gakupo was right behind her! "There you are." He said calmly.

"Stay back!" Cried Luka, backing into the dead end.

He inched closer towards her, and he pulled her out to him still sitting. He went in for her neck again and proceeded to drink. Powerless against him, Luka weakened and Gakupo got on top of her. "Some...one help..." her voice trailed off.

She passed out from blood loss and Gakupo carried her out of the maze and said, "Even if you're not a vampire yet, you'll still make a beautiful bride."
