Met by Moonlight (Vampire Gakupo x Luka)

It was then the night of the lunar eclipse. Meiko came to many people's houses and said, "There is a great evil that rules this kingdom! Join me, and we shall restore peace to this land!"

Many people were rounded up and soon, a mob was built up. They all left the village and headed towards the castle, equipped with holy water, garlic, and cheap splintery stakes. It took a while to get to the castle, but it was then nightfall once they arrived. The moon started changing. The lunar eclipse had begun. Only one hour until midnight. Everyone tried to break down the gate, and managed to successfully do it. They approached the wooden door, and breaking it down took some time.

Luka was awakened by banging noises. She looked out the window and saw an angry mob trying to break down the door. She got a closer look and saw the mob was lead by Meiko and Miku! "Are they here to save me?" Thought Luka.

The door to her room opened up and Gakupo ran in to the room and said to her, "There's a mob out there! We need to escape!"

"Never!" Sneered Luka.

Gakupo looked out the window and saw the mob, then up at the moon which started the eclipse. He walked back to Luka and said, "Maybe within time, maybe you could save us both."

Luka tried to run, but Gakupo stopped her and pushed her against the wall. "Let me go you monster!" Gasped Luka.

Gakupo inched closer to her, and bit her neck! Luka froze up, and then blacked out. Gakupo set her on her bed and said, "At midnight, the awakening should be complete. Now just sleep, my love."

He went out of her room, and locked the door. "Rin, Len!" Shouted Gakupo.

The twins came to him and Len said, "The castle is under attack!"

He gave Rin the key to the bedroom and said, "Guard this key, and this door with your lives!"

"Yes, sire!" Said Rin.

Gakupo raced down the stairs and went to go confront the mob. The mob then broke in! The guards started to fight, but they were overran by the mob. The men tried to fight Gakupo, but he was too good of a fighter to be defeated. While Gakupo was distracted, Meiko and Miku went looking for Luka. Thirty minutes until midnight. There were so many rooms in the castle that it seemed impossible to find Luka within a small amount of time.

They raced up the stairs, and saw two blonde kids guarding a door. "Rin, look!" Gasped the boy.

"Halt! Who goes there?" Shouted the blonde girl.

"Do you two work for Prince Gakupo?" Asked Meiko.

"Yes," said Len, "What is it to you?"

"You're vampires, aren't you?" Asked Miku.

The kids refused to answer, so Miku pulled out a bunch of garlic, and they started screaming. "Ahhh! It smells terrible!" Screamed Len.

He fell down the stairs and sickened with the smell of garlic, he died instantly. "Len!" Cried Rin. "You'll pay for this humans!" Cried Rin.

"Give us the key to the room, and we'll spare you!" Ordered Miku.

Rin charged up to them, and Meiko threw her string of garlic on Rin, and she collapsed to the ground on top of her brother. Miku snatched the key from Rin and unlocked the door. Only five minutes until midnight. Miku unlocked the door, and saw Luka lying on the bed. Her skin was cold as ice, and she was motionless. Meiko noticed the bite mark on Luka's neck and she said, "Miku, quickly! The solution!"

Miku took out her vile, and before she could give Luka the solution, a knife plunged into the vile, causing it to shatter! Gakupo stood at the door and said, "Who do we have here? Intruders trying to take my wife away?"

"Get away from her!" Shouted Meiko.

The clock the struck midnight! Gakupo pushed Miku and Meiko to the ground, and approached Luka's motionless body. "Awaken my beloved!" Shouted Gakupo, "May this night bless you as your new self rises!"

After the last chime of the ball, Luka opened her eyes, which were now a red color like the lunar eclipse. "G-Gakupo," said Luka softly, "is that you?"

"Luka!" Cried Miku.

"Silence!" Shouted Gakupo to Miku.

Luka got off the bed and saw Meiko and Miku. She stared at them with her soulless eyes and Gakupo ordered, "Dispose them."

"Yes, master." She said.

She walked up to them, and Meiko grabbed Miku's hand and made a run for it. They ran as fast as they could to escape. "Where are we going?" Asked Miku.

"We have to leave quickly!" Said Meiko, "We didn't reach her in time! Luka's gone! That solution will now only kill Luka now!"

"Well I'm not giving up! Luka's still in there, I know it!" Said Miku.

"Is she really?" Asked Meiko sadly.

The mob was already gone and a voice shouted, "Don't make another move!"

It was Luka. "Luka! Wake up from this madness!" Shouted Miku.

"Miku, come on!" Shouted Meiko.

"I'm not leaving until I get Luka back!" Yelled Miku.

"She's gone. She's not a human anymore!" Cried Meiko.

Miku snatched Meiko's vile of solution and shouted to Luka, "If you want me, come and fight me!"

Luka went down and stared at Miku, then sprang to attack. "Guess it's you and me then!" Shouted Gakupo to Meiko.

"Fine. It's a duel then!" Shouted Meiko.
