Fixer Upper

Luke's P.O.V
After I left the conversation with Addi I went to my room. I was planning on taking a nap, but then there was all this screaming and I got scared. I heard different voices yelling, someone ran upstairs, and a few doors were slammed. I went down to see what was going on and all I saw was Mikey sulking on the couch.

"What's wrong Mikey?" I asked slowly hoping he would answer.

"Shut the hell up Luke. Now is not the time." he snapped back.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I just wanted t-to see what w-was w-wrong.." He stopped crying and looked up at me. His eyes were as red as a tomato and they were very puffy. He laid there motionless. I've never seen him like this.

"I like her Luke. I really like her." he confessed.

"We all do. I like her, you like her, Harry and Louis both like her. We all know she deserves Niall though." I tried to calm him down and I was truthful about it.

"You know Harry and Louis are in a bet right now right?" he said.

"No I didn't know that. What are they betting on?" I asked.

"You're an idiot Lucas." he chuckled. "They are betting on who will get Addi to date them first." he explained.

I honestly had no idea what was going on. That really took me by surprise. They are both great lads, I wouldn't have expected that from them at all.

"Um.. should I tell Addison? Or even Ashton?" I asked cautiously.

"I definetly wouldn't tell ashton, he's already fuming. He might end up killing someone."

"I'll just ask Liam about it."

Ashton's P.O.V

After a few hours of calming down, I returned home. I walked in and there was no one insight. I climbed the stairs to find Addi. I opened the door to her room and saw her asleep with Calum wrapped around her.

"What the hell is going on here?" I shouted. I wasn't mad, I was just in shock.They both jumped and sat up looking at me.

"Ashton nothing happened I swear.." Calum spoke calmly. Addi didn't even say anything she just walked out.

"Ash I need to talk to you." Calum said.
I went and sat next to him on her bed.

"As you know, Addi has been through a lot in her life..." He began.

"Yes I know, I tried as hard as I could to be with her." I said looking down at my hands.

"And I know that. She just needs some space." Cal continued.

"She needs space? I've given her thousands of miles of space and she still wants more?" I complained.

"Not like that ash... we all have noticed you're just a little too protective over her."

"Yeah okay well she needs protection and that's my job."

"I understand that, but you need to let her be free. She thinks that you don't want her to be around any of us without you because you don't trust her." he explained.

"I do trust her. I know she'll make good choices, I just don't want her to get hurt." I told him.

"Okay, starting tomorrow you have to let her be free and do what she wants. If she wants to fuck Michael and then go out to dinner with Louis then let her. Just protect from a distance. Now I'm going back to bed."

"Goodnight Calum." I spoke and exited.

"Goodnight Ash."
