Izuku: U.A. Bathroom

Shoto, my boyfriend, texted me to go to the bathroom since he wants to talk to me about something important.

Shoto has been a great boyfriend. He has helped me through a lot and I have too. Shoto gave me a promise ring on our 2 year anniversary.

(This is in the 3rd year of UA)

He even asked my mom and everything. Every time I look at the ring, it makes my day, knowing I get to spend the rest of my life with him one day.

I was scrolling through my phone as I waited for Shoto. I heard the door open and I smiled at my boyfriend as he walked in. He didn't return the smile which was unusual.

"What did you want to tell me?" I asked. Maybe he wanted to talk about our next date.

"I think we should see other people," Shoto just blurted out. It caught me off guard, but not wanting to break first, I just smiled.

"I respect your decision," I headed to the door but stopped. "You should have this back. I don't see the purpose of me having it anymore."

I took off my promise ring and put it on the bathroom counter, so Todoroki can grab it. Before I left, I told him one thing.

"I hope your next relationship is better than ours, Todoroki,"

I exited the bathroom and immediately headed to the rooftop. It was the only place I could think of that didn't have people.

When I reached the rooftop, I took a deep breath and tried to relax. I should give Todoroki back the stuff he gave me. What's the point of having it anyway?

He only dated me out of pity. He probably didn't even love me.

Who would love you anyway?
You're nothing but a weakling.
You can't even protect yourself. You're such a crybaby.
No one likes a crybaby.
People are gonna hate you.

I was brought back into reality when I felt some wet hit the back of my hand.

I was crying.

Before I could fully wipe my tears, the bell rang. How can I face Todoroki? I took a deep breath and walked back into the school.

I sat in my seat and waited for class to start.

"Hey Deku, I have a ques-" Kacchan turned to me and then stopped. "Where's the ring Half n' Half gave you?"

Kacchan became nicer to me as we progressed through the years. Mainly because of Kirishima.

"Quiet down, will you," I said making a hand motion along with it. "He... he said we should see other people."

"Really?! That bastard!" He exclaimed. He looks at Todoroki who was seated in the second row where we were at the back.

He was talking to Yaoyorozu. There was a light blush on his face as they joked and talked to each other. I sighed at the sight.

"Hey, guys, what are you talking about?" Uraraka came and sat down on her sat in front of me.

"Damn Half n' Half broke up with Deku," Kacchan answered.

"Really?" Uraraka said in an 'are-you-serious?' tone, but before I could go into further detail the bell rang. I see Yaoyorozu get up and head to her desk which was, unfortunately, next to mine.

We had free time since our lesson ended earlier than expected. I was about to put in my earbuds when Jirō came up to Yaoyorozu.
