3rd person:
Midoriya Izuku.
A young naive boy.
He had finally knew what being in love meant when he met a boy in his class.
This boy... He was different in the eyes of Izuku.
He was even more delighted when the short red string, he had grown all so familiar with, connected to the boy he had fallen for.
He felt like it was appropriate to confess to his soulmate.
So that's what he did...
Although...
Things didn't turn out the way he had expected it to be.
He nervously stood below the cherry blossom tree.
He had waited for this moment for a very long time.
Midoriya thought positively.
It's not like someone would reject their soulmate.
Right?
The night before, Izuku stayed up researching about soulmates.
'Can you be rejected by your soulmate?'
'The simple answer is yes, but to be officially rejected by your soulmate, there are special scissors that cost a fortune to purchase. With those scissors, you or your soulmate can cut your string, but beware, if you get rejected by your soulmate, you have a great chance of dying.'
This statement didn't sit well with Izuku.
He was praying that he wouldn't get rejected by his soulmate.
He didn't want to die.
He wanted to live and have a bright future.
"Midoriya," the voice spoke.
"H-hey!" Izuku was a bit startled, but he greeted the boy.
"I know why you asked me to meet me here," his voice became quiet.
"Oh, that's good," Izuku smiled.
"I can't accept your confession," the taller male pulled out a pair of scissors.
Izuku's heart dropped at the sight of the scissors.
No.
No.
No.
T-this isn't real!
"W-wait!" Izuku yelled as the blades of the scissors touched the string. "Please don't do this."
