A groan can be heard from the sound of a young boy's voice.
"I don't wanna go!" A blue capped boy whined, trying to pull his hand away from his older brother's grip, who was dragging him out of the house.
"Quake will be mad if you still continue that attitude of yours." His older brother protested, dragging his little brother all the way until they exited the house.
The wind element huffed.
"I would rather stay at home and play videogames with Blaze!"
"Well then, I won't be buying you an ice cream when you want one. My treat by the way."
The blue capped boy's expression changed, his eyes sparkled and his mouth watered just by hearing that.
"Oh! Oh! Okay! I'll go! Just make sure you buy me a free, tasty ice cream, Thundy!~" He cheerfully said, pointing his little index finger to his older brother while teasing him with his nickname.
"Okay. No ice cream then." The lightning element said, facing his little brother with an expressionless face.
Thunderstorm just hated that nickname his little brother had given him. He haven't even had any clue to where his little brother thought of that silly nickname for him.
After all, they're siblings. They can call each other with silly, nonsense nicknames whatever and whenever they want.
Cyclone's jaw dropped as he panicked slightly.
"No! No! I mean, brother...Thunderstorm." He smiled widely but nervously, both of his hands placed on the back while looking at his brother with his head tilted slightly.
Thunderstorm grinned as he heard this.
"Is everybody here?" A boy wearing a black cap that was facing backwards asked, his yellow eyes gazed at his siblings.
"Yeah." Thunderstorm and Cyclone said in unison.
"Alright then. Let's go!" Quake exclaimed as he lead the way towards their destination, with his brothers following behind him.
<><><>
The three siblings were peacefully walking at the side of the road.
Quake, the one who leads his siblings while Thunderstorm was holding Cyclone's little hand as they walked.
Thunderstorm, the one who was assigned to watch over Cyclone if he does anything stupid and for Cyclone, he was just being himself.
The wind element was skipping happily as they walked, with his little hand holding his older brother's big hand.
"So, brother Quake?" The little wind elemental sibling called his eldest brother.
The earth element hummed as he turned to look at his little sibling.
"Where are we going exactly?", he asked while his cyan, blue eyes roamed around his surroundings.
"To the ATM, just to withdraw some cash our parents earned for us." Quake answered while Cyclone just blinked a few times in disbelief.
"Are you kidding me!?" The wind element exclaimed, groaning like crazy afterwards.
Thunderstorm on the other hand, found his little sibling's reaction funny, so he just chuckled silently.
"We just left the house just to get cash from a bank account!?" Cyclone complained, removing his hand from Thunderstorm's grip and started kicking the ground furiously using his right foot, looking annoyed as ever.
"Hey! You should take it easy! It's like everyday you're always in your room, playing videogames without even resting your tired eyes for a bit!" Quake stated, looking at his little brother sternly with his arms crossed.
"At least I'm eating!" Cyclone defended.
"Junkfoods." Quake stated.
"Shut up!" The wind element growled.
"Cyclone! Watch your mouth!" Quake scolded.
While the two siblings were busy arguing to each other, Thunderstorm's ruby eyes were wandering around his surroundings silently.
He looked at every car in motion.
Watching every people passing by.
Seeing a little kid running across the road when the traffic lights for the pedestrian were red.
Wait...
A little kid running across the road when the traffic lights for the pedestrian were red!?
Thunderstorm became alarmed and immediately dashed towards the little kid who was now rooted on his spot as he waited for the car to hit him.
"WATCH OUT, KID!"
BZZT!
He quickly grabbed the little kid on the road and zapped across the other side of the road.
Heavy breathing could be heard from the lightning element.
His arms embracing the kid with one knee dropped on the ground.
He felt his heart pumping faster.
When he breathed normally, he stood up from the ground and glanced at the little kid he just saved.
"Are you okay, kid?" He asked.
As the lightning element faced him, his eyes widened in surprise.
"Thorn!?"
"C-Cousin Thunderstorm...?"
