Mental Break Down Final Phase: The Deal
~~~~Francis' P.O.V.~~~~
I stood outside the metal door that was keeping my pet locked up.
"It's been three days now. Let's see how my pet is doing."
From the corner of my eye, I look at the servant next to me. Lucy looked a bit worried. I just shrug it off as I open the door. Immediately, we noticed she was gone. The restrains hanged loosely from the back wall.
"What?"
"W-Where did she go?" Lucy nervously asks.
"Sora... I can't lose everything... Secret must be kept... Must be hidden..."
Her voice... It's coming from...
We look towards the darkest corner of the room. She was huddled in the corner, hugging her legs to her chest as she banged her head against the wall.
"I...I...don't know what to do anymore..."
I looked at her a bit disturbed. Honestly, it pained me to see my property in this kind of state. But, it's the only way to have her come back to me.
"She's...officially broken..." Lucy softly speaks.
Shiori bangs her head much harder this time around.
"I'll lose everything. I can't lose...my life... My future... I'm sorry, Sora..."
"She's crazy..." Lucy hides behind me.
"...Shiori." I speak her name.
She snaps her head towards me.
"You...I'll kill you..."
She slowly stands. Then, with lightning fast reflexes, she charges at us.
"I can make a deal with you."
She stops right before me. With her so close, I can see the life was completely drained from her eyes. She looked deprived from all human emotions. She looked just like she did when I first found her. She lost all emotion from her mental break.
"Deal?" she asks.
"Yes." I smile. "If you come back to The Guild, no one will know about your past or your ability. It will be the organization's secret. No one else will have to know. That way, you won't end back up at the P.D.B. or dead. You'll be safe here. You know I'm telling you the truth. You're my property, and I take care of my things."
"...My brother..."
"Your twin won't know anything either. I promise."
"I wasn't talking about him..."
"Right, Sora... His name will never be brought up again. I'll make sure no one says it. Your mind can be at peace."
"...All I have to do is join you and everything...will be okay?"
"Yes."
"...Okay."
My smile turns into a big grin.
"Servant! Get a room ready for my pet. And make sure it's the best one. She needs to rest. Make sure her wounds are treated as well."
Lucy looks from me to her.
"Y-Yes, sir."
Cautiously, she walks up to Shiori.
"R-Right this way..."
Shiori simply follows her out of the room. I stood here, all alone.
"Finally...the greatest weapon known to man is back and under my control. If my first plan fails, I'll use her to destroy this damn city."
~~~~Third Person P.O.V.~~~~
Shiori and Lucy walk down the hallway in silence. Lucy nervously kept stealing glances behind her at the quiet girl behind her. Shiori's messy hair was covering her eyes, so she couldn't tell what she was thinking. She looks ahead as they pass a cell door. But the moment they do, someone from inside starts shouting.
"Shiori! Are you okay?!"
Shiori stops in her tracks.
"Atsushi...?"
She looks back at the door to see her twin through the glass window. Lucy quickly grabs her hand.
"Let's keep moving."
"But..."
"Shiori... That look... Are you alright?! What did they do to you?!"
Lucy lets go and walks up to the prisoner's door.
"Quiet! Leave her alone! She's no longer on your side."
"What...? That can't be true. Shiori would never leave the Agency to join The Guild. Not after how you all treated her as some kind of animal."
Lucy grins at him while addressing Shiori.
"Tell him."
Atsushi looks towards his sister.
"It's not true...is it?"
"..."
Shiori walks up to the door. With no emotion in her eyes, she answers his question.
"I'm sorry... I'm no longer part of the Agency. I'm with The Guild now. I'll never leave them again."
Having nothing more to say, she turns away from the door.
"Let's continue, Lucy."
"R-Right."
Lucy continues leading the way as Atsushi bangs his fists on the door.
"Shiori! Come back here!"
"..."
The two young ladies turn the corner, not answering the prisoner's calls.
~~~~Time Skip/Shiori's P.O.V.~~~~
It was currently the next day, making it a week since I've been on this ship. I was standing by Francis' desk, all patched up. He was sitting at it, facing the large, circular window, looking out over the city. Everything was silent.
"...Shiori..."
"Yes?"
"...How do you feel about my plan?"
"...To be perfectly honest...nothing. I don't feel anything for the people who will die. Nor will I feel anything towards the Agency or Port Mafia. You're plan doesn't phase me." I answer in a monotone voice.
"..."
Francis turns his head towards me.
"Tell me something. Why did you leave this organization in the first place? You stole a lot of money from us when you left."
"I simply wanted to find my twin at the time. But now that I have, there's no reason for me to leave this place ever again. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused."
"...It's fine." He faces the city again. "I won't hold it against you. Family is very important. That's the main reason I'm here after all. ...I'm just glad you found your way home."
"..."
"Sir."
A guard enters the room. Without looking at him, Francis replies.
"Yes, what is it?"
"We brought you the prisoner."
"Let him in."
"Yes, sir."
The guard opens the door and two more guards bring my brother in. His wrists were bonded as they made him sit on his legs in front of Francis' desk. He just glared at the back of Francis' head without saying anything. His gaze soften a bit when he notices me. I just stare back at him with my emotionless eyes.
"...Are you enjoying your cruise on the Moby Dick?"
