Later that night
***

The door opening startled me out of my sleep.

I decided to take a small nap after I went back to my room earlier.

"What?" I whine groggily as I rubbed my eyes.

"We need to talk." He says now standing at the foot of my bed.

He was crazy if he thought we were going to talk in the middle of my sleep.

"We can talk later." I mumbled as I turned over on my side ready for my slumber to take me in.

"Now Amalia!"

He never really said my name unless he was trying to seduce me or it was something serious, Whatever it was it was serious.

"Fine!" I yell as I quickly sat up.

"Let's talk!" I say as I slap both my hands down on my bed.

"I'm having a very important dinner tonight, I need you to stay in your room." He continued, not phased by my stubbornness.

"Why?"I say completely clueless of what was happening.

"For your own safety, that's why."He says basically ignoring my question.

He knew those weren't the answers I was looking for.

"Tell me why!" I say completely annoyed at this point.

If he wasn't going to tell me then I wasn't going to listen.

"Promise me, you'll stay up here for the rest of the night" He says seriously looking me in my eyes.

"Fine, I promise." I say, slightly less annoyed knowing he probably had a good reason.

He said nothing else as he walked towards my door.

"Alfio, what's goin on?" I say beginning to feel nervous.

"You're safe." He says gently turning around to look back at me.

I could tell he sensed my nervousness.

He said nothing else as he closed the door to my room.

I was scared but I wasn't going to be left in the dark, especially when it came to me.

*****

I was currently peeking through the crack of my bedroom door.

Someone was here, but all I could see was Alfios back.

I was struggling to see who was here considering I was on the second floor, trying to peek through my door and down the staircase.

I was sitting on my bed when I noticed someone was here, I heard two voices speaking in a different language, I assumed was Spanish.

I was only able to make out one voice, obviously recognizing Alfios, but the other voice completely unfamiliar, which aroused my curiousness.
