The backyard was beautiful, there were round tables all around the back yard, occupying the perfectly green grass, almost so green it looked fake.

Plates and silverware occupying every seat, lights all around lighting up the backyard and the smell of food satisfying my nostrils.

There was a chef cooking at the grill as maids, along with me and Christi, helped prepare.

I kept stealing glances at the chef, he had the perfect little chef hat and outfit, just like on tv.

It was oddly satisfying, even though I was a little on edge.

I was slightly nervous, these people knew of me and I had no idea who they were and from the numberes of tables and chairs, there were going to be a lot of people.

I had just finished setting silverware and plates at each table, I was now just admiring everyone's work, it was amazing.

"Christi!" A women screamed as a man followed behind her.

They hugged each-other like they were long lost friends.

"Amalia, come!" She called over to me.

I walked over awkwardly, they were staring me down almost causing me to forget how to walk.

"Oh she's beautiful!" the women gushed to Christi as if I wasn't there.

It seemed her husband thought so too, he was staring at me like he wanted to rip these clothes clean off me.

I rubbed my hand against my thigh awkwardly standing there as they finished their conversation.

I felt like a child just standing there as she spoke to multiple other people.

I couldn't help but cringe at the snottiness and phoniness that rolled off them.

"Bitch." Christi mumbled as the women began walking away.

She had currently just finished critiquing all of our work.

"Meanwhile she probably doesn't do anything herself." I said rolling my eyes, slightly annoyed, since I played a part in this setup.

"I never liked her." She said to me walking away as I trailed behind her like a lost puppy.

Why did she invite her? why did she invite any of this people? I didn't get it.

There was a handful of nice people, but the rest  weren't my cup of tea.

More and more people started coming in and I had been saying hello to people for about an hour, meanwhile Alfio was no where to be found.

I quickly looked back as I felt someone tap my shoulder.

"How are you?"Ace asked as he smiled down on me.

We were both analyzing each others outfits, he was looking my body up and down in a lustful way and I didn't even mind.

He had on a similar outfit as Alfios, dress pants and shirt.

Had they ever heard of jeans and a T-shirt.

"Good." I said smiling up at him.

"You look good." He said taking my body in once more, causing me to blush.

Music started playing drawing our attention behind us as couples stood up to dance, including Christi and John.

The sun was down and the only thing that was lighting the backyard were beautiful patio lights and the moon.
