   Y/N'S POV

  Ever since Dick and I shared a sweet moment and that kiss last night, I was so ready to see him. He liked me. He actually liked me. I had never really had luck when it came to guys, so I had no idea what to do next.
  Maybe I should text him or tell him good night? Maybe I should go see what he was doing? I was clueless, but I just chose to go with going to say good night. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?

  Right now, someone was after Rachel, and we were trying to keep her safe. I knew that Rachel was with Garfield right now, but I had no clue where Kori was.
  Hopefully, she wasn't with Dick. I noticed the looks that they gave each other, no matter what it was. I hoped that it was just an "in the moment" kind of thing, though.

  However, I faced my doubts as I walked over to Dick's room.

  I knocked on the door, but I received no reply from Dick. So, I checked to see if the door was unlocked. Maybe I should just wait out here for him, but what if something's bothering him? I had to know what was going on.
  I opened the door, and I really wished that I would've just left it closed. Dick and Kori were all over each other, and I wanted this to be a dream. I wanted it to be some kind of mind trick, but it didn't appear to be the case.

  I closed the door back before I moved to head out for a walk, but someone said,"Y/N, where are you going?"

  Rachel and Garfield looked at me in curiosity, and I said,"I'm just going to head out for a walk. Tell Dick that I'll be back."

  Rachel frowned as she said,"You seem upset. Is everything okay, Y/N?"

  "No, but I'll push through it like everything else. You two stay here and look out for each other."

  Garfield tried to come with me, so I said,"No, Gar. Please stay. I need some time to think."

  Rachel held him back, and I made my way down the street. I watched as a couple of cars passed by, yet I could no longer see them when tears clouded my vision.

  I was pushed to the side. Then, I heard a car honking before someone pulled me back. Once I caught my breath, I wiped my tears to see my savior. It was Dick, and his eyes were full of nothing but concern for me. 

  He pushed my hair out of my face as he asked me,"Are you all right, Y/N?"

  I didn't answer him as I held on to his jacket. This could possibly be one of the only times that I could be this close to him, so I tried to enjoy it.

  Dick let me hold on to his jacket as he said,"Y/N, please answer me. Let's get you out of the street."

  That was when I noticed the man yelling at Dick and where Dick had obviously crushed the guy's window. Dick tried ignoring the man, but he pulled Dick back. Dick ended up scaring off the man, and then he led me over to one of the benches.

  He sat down with me, but he cupped my face as he said,"Let me see if you're hurt."

  Dick looked me over, but he noticed that my cheeks were wet.

  He frowned, yet he hugged me as he said,"Y/N, you're okay. I've got you."

  I confessed to him,"Dick, I love you."

  He said,"I know. I love you, too. I'm sorry that you had to see Kori and me back there. Y/N, I know you saw. I always know when you're around. Kori and I have something going on between us, but I don't want to keep hurting you. What do you say I walk with you?"

  I gave him a kiss before I answered,"Yes, you can walk with me. I would love your company."

  Dick held out his hand, and I placed mine in his own. Together, we went for a walk. Whether it was just for a minute or two, I was grateful for this moment with him.
  Sure, Kori and Dick may have had some feelings for each other, but Dick did love me. I loved him, too, so I would do whatever I could to keep him nearby.
