Alexis's POV
I woke up to the sound of my stupid alarm. I would have thrown it at the wall but its my phone so I didn't. I dragged myself out of bed and went to the shower. I got in and just stood in the hot water, letting it pound against my back to wake me up. I got out and decided on what I should wear, but the I remebered this school has ugly uniforms. ughhhhhhhhhhhh. I put my uniform on and did my hair. I just decided to straighten it, and as for make up I just put on a little mascara and eye liner, nothing major. I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.
I decided to have a bowl of cereal before I left since it was still early and i didnt have to be at school for another hour or so. I made myself a bowl of my favorite cereal ever, Captain Berry Crunch and sat at the tabe eating it while going on my phone. I lived close to school so I wasn't really in a rush. After I finished I put my bowl in the sink and grabbed my bag and keys. I got in my car and drove to school.
When I got there I parked and tried to find my way the the office. I got quite lost considering I havent been on the campus before and that it was pretty damn big. "excuse me" I heard someone say. I turned towards them and it was a girl. She looked like she was in my grade. "you must be the new student, Im Casey" she said "Im Alexis" "well hi Alexis you seemed lost, are you looking for the office?" "yes oh my gosh can you show where it is?" "sure" she replied with a smile. she is really nice, maybe this won't be so bad after all.
We finally got to the office "Hey so I gotta get to class but ill talk to you later" casey said. "Okay bye" i replied. I walked up to the desk "Im the new student Alexis Andrews, here to get my schedule" "ahhh" said the lady as she printed it out "Its okay if youre a bit late, since it is your first day" "thank you" I said with a smile as I walked out.
My first class was math. ughhhhhhhh. i mentally choked myself because I hate math. I finally found the correct class room and walked in. "ahh Alexis Hi" said a lady which I assumed was my teacher. "class, this is our new student Alexis, she has moved here all the way from California" "Hi.." I said shyly. "you can go sit in the back over there by Matthew, Matthew raise your hand." a boy with a light brown/dirty blondish hair raised his hand. He didnt even look at me he just kept talking to his friends. I could tell he was one of the populars. Oh great. They kept talking and couldn't help but get slightly annoyed. I looked over at them as asked "can you please be quiet?' and they just ignored me and kept talking. I was getting more and more annoyed until I kinda just lost control. "Can you please shut up?!" I kinda yelled. Matthew looked at me and scoffed "Bitch" he mumbled. Ugh I can already tell I will not like this kid one bit.
The rest of the day went by pretty fast which was good but the bad part was that Matthew was in all of my class and i just can not stand him. I was walking to my locker when casey came up to me. "Hey alexis" "Hi Casey" i replied. "so how was your first day in thie hell?" she asked. I giggled and replied "It was okay, other than the fact that i have all my classes with the most irritatng person" "Let me guess.. Matthew Espinosa?" "How did you know?" "Well he is like the most popular boy in school and hes also the biggest asshole" "hahahaha yea I can tell" I said. "hes also a player, so I'd stay away from him if I were you" "yep No problem with that" i said and she laughed.
"Hey do you need a ride home?" i asked casey. "Oh my gosh yes please" she said. We got in my car and jamed out to some 5SOS. I can already tell that we are gonna be best friends. "Take a left here" she said. I parked outside her house. "hey so thank you for the ride" "no problem" I said.
I drove home and went into the house. "im home" I said. "Hi sweety" my dad said while walking down the stairs. "Hi daddy" I said while hugging my dad. My dad and I are really close, and I must say I do love my mom very much, but I definiltey am a daddy's girl. "how was school" my dad asked. "ehh it was school" I replied. "well did you make any friends?" "yea! her name is casey" "well thats good, your mom should be home soon, she just went to the store to get dinner" "Okay" I said while going upstairs.
I went into my room and to do some homework which I didnt have much of considering it was the first day. My mom soon got home and came up to my room. "Hey Alexis, tomorrow we are having guests over and I just wanted to let you know ahead of time" "okay mom" i said as i walked to the bathroom. I quickly showered and went to bed.
