Matt's POV
When we got home I went straight to bed, I couldn't stop thinking about Alexis, she looked so beautiful tonight. I want her, she probably doesnt want me though. Im such an as. Good job Matt, you always know how to screw things up. and with that I fell asleep
Alexis's POV
BEEP BEEP BEPP
"God dammit shut up!!" I yelled at my alarm clock, boy did I hate waking up early. I layed in bed for a little bit longer just thinking about last night. How could I not have known that, that douchebag is my neighbor. Gawsh he makes me mad.
I got out of bed and got ready for school. I made my way downstairs and had some breakfast. I really didnt want to go to school today but I have to.
I got in my car and went to go pick up Casey since she asked me yesterday if i could. We arrive at school and we were walking to our lockers. Casey's locker was right next to mine which was pretty awesome. We came up to our lockers and i see.. Matthew??
Matt's POV
I saw Alexis coming towards her locker, gosh she looked pretty. "uh why are you by my locker?" she asked clearly irritated with my presence. "oh uhm I just uh wanted to say sorry" I said awkwardly. Dang it why and I so weird. "Sure you are matthew" she said as she pushed me away from her locker and walked away.
This may be harder than I thought. I walked into first period and saw Alexis sitting there. boy she makes me nervous. I sat in my seat next to her. All my friends were calling her names Hoe, Slut, Bitch,Whore, etc. I finally grew the balls to stand up for her.
"Stop" I turned to my 'friends' and said. They stared at me shocked, silent. I looked at Alexis, she seemed shocked too. The class ended and Alexis left, didnt say a word, just left
Alexis's POV
I can't believe Matt actually stood up for me. I didn't know how to thank him, so I just left. I felt bad but oh well, he use to be an ass to me too.
The day went by surprisingly fast. I got home and there was a note that said. 'Alexis, me and your father are going out tonight on a date, we will not be home till late, love you'. I went up stairs and showered. I was actually quite happy to be alone tonight, I could watch American Horror Story.
I just finished making popcorn when I heard a knock at my door. I opened it and saw someone I really didnt feel like talking to. "Hey Alexis" he said. I sighed "What do you want Matthew?" he seemed nervous "Well I was wondering if i could come over here and hangout because my parents are out and I dont know what else to do" he said while scratching the back of his neck. "Uhm sure I guess."
I let him in and sat on the couch. "So what do you wanna do?" he asked "Well I was just about to watch American Horror Story if thats okay" I replied. "Oh yea! I love that show".
We were half way through the show when i noticed Matthew was staring at me. "Is there something on my face Matthew?" I asked "No, but why do you always call me Matthew?" he asked "Well Matthew its because I figured only your friends called you Matt" I replied "You are my friend though" "eh that is debatable" I said with a giggle.
"No but seriously, call me Matt" he said "Okay" I replied while walking into the kitchen.
Matt's POV
I followed Alexis into thw kitchen. Gosh she looked amaing in yoga shorts. "You hungry?" she asked "Yea, im kinda in the mood for making cookies" I replied. She laughed and gathered all the ingredients.
We started making the cookies when I accidentally got some flour on her head. "Matt!" she yelled I just laughed. "Oh ha ha you think your so funny" she teased as she grabbed an egg and cracked it on my head. "Oh its on Andrews" I said "Bring it Espinosa" she replied. She threw some flour at me and we had a food fight.
She tried to run away but I caught her and brought her to my chest. I looked into her eyes then down at her mouth. She noticed and backed away. "I won Espinosa" she said with a smile. "sure you did Andrews".
We cleaned up the mess then just chilled. After a while I decided I should go home because it was getting kinda late. "Alexis, Im gonna head home" I said "Okay" she said with a smile. Gosh her smile was amazing. she walked me to the front door. "i had a lot of fun. Thank you for letting me come over" I said "no problem Espinosa" she said as she lighty punched my arm
"Goodnight Alexis" I said "Goodnight Matt" she said while closing the door. "Oh and don't forget, the party in two days" I said "Okay I won't hah" and with that I walked home. It was only like a 30 second walk so it wasnt bad at all.
I couldn't seem to stop smiling. I went upstairs to shower and go to bed. I just layed there staring at the ceiling, smiling. I couldn't stop thinking about her.
