I'm not sure if you want Melinda, Moonlight or Careful so I chose Careful because I'm mean! But maybe I'm not going to write her so evil this timeXD You’ll see a lot of her maturing thoughts! Also I will bring Melinda back for the next chapter!!

Careful's POV
Only Moonlight and I stood in the middle of some scorching flames probably made by the fairy. I knew I was the last trained CP left and had to get to the scroll. If Moonlight does, Xigix might not be in good hands.
She was just a trainee...maybe we shouldn't even have brought them, in that way we can ensure a trained CP reached the scroll and only one is taken out every few test. We all know that these fairies make horrible choices and I just hope they make one correct one by choosing me to see the spell of the scroll instead of Moonlight. She was no match with me anyway and if they were wise, they would choose me to save Xigix.
I glance slightly at the flames before looking at Moonlight’s calm composure. She had really deep hair that could be a really dark shade of blue or merely black. Her eyes were like sparkling with positivity and confidence, unlike mine. Mine were probably reflecting hope, hope of passing the last test.
It wasn’t like I was curious about Moonlight but she just never seem to lose her cool which surprises me. Everything about her screams calm. From the way she stood, the way she smiled. She seems like she never ever lose her cool and then it struck me, maybe you don’t need to be powerful to pass this test…you just have to open up your heart and believe the good side of everything.
It only then occurred to me that maybe…I shouldn’t even have dreams of seeing the scroll. Just in this short time of observing Moonlight, she taught me many things that I would never have the ability to teach anyone. I can’t even think about having the ability to. The last task of seeing the scroll’s magic belong to Moonlight and I should have known long ago. I’m basically nothing compared to her for this task.
Moonlight’s POV
I smiled slightly as I observe Careful from the corner of my eye, I knew she was looking at me and I must admit that I found her actions quite amusing. She seemed deep in thought about something and the look on her face was interesting but I rather spent my time admiring the flames dance than look at her.
I really loved the beautiful flames hold together as I they moved about. I always had a thing for beautiful things, things that are an Art to my eyes. I could literally see myself running through the beautiful flames and not getting burn.
That’s it…something clicked in me, knowing our last task was to run through the flames – without getting burn but each must find his or her own way.
“I’m going this path!” I called out to Careful as I see her nod, taking the other path. I felt the flames licking my hand – almost playfully – as I giggled and ran through them. They were beautiful, almost like dancing pretty ballerinas. I smiled slightly and shook my head as I thought at how Careful was going to react to these flames.
“We’re here…” Careful murmured as she glanced up at the big gate in front of us. The last keeper of the scroll appeared just then.
“Very well, very well...walk through the gates and find your answer…” she disappeared right after she said the very words. Careful and I looked at each other, confused of who should go. If we were right, only one of us was allowed to see the scroll.
We glanced back and forth when Careful finally said,“You go…”
I shook my head and offered that we go together. She smiled weakly at me as we walked towards the gigantic gate. The moment we reached, Careful disappeared and I was all alone in a cave. Right in the middle was the scroll.
I look left and right before walking slowly towards the scroll. In this hollow cave I could hear my heart pounding loudly and I realised I was looking around every minute in fear of something jumping loud at me. I reached the scroll…breathing in deeply.
Was this it? The answer to save Xigix or was there still more test?
I felt unsure as I reached out to the scroll with shaky hands. Part of me felt relieve, part of me felt scared, yet part of me felt worried. Relieve that we found it. Scared that we went through all this for nothing. Worried that we were too late.
I opened up the scroll and was shock at the answer…
My face. The scroll was just a mirror, reflecting me and I gasp. Underneath it was some words…
If you manage to reach here then you are the one…look deep inside you and you’ll find the answer…
I frowned…what was that supposed to mean? I can’t go back without the knowing how to call the 6 legendary nymphs. The CPs would be furious! Careful even trusted me. Should I just tell them the truth? No…
This could be the end…I thought as I stood into the portal that could bring me back to god knows what of Xigix. I could only imagine it in ruins and it could be because of me…

So they past all the test and Moonlight was chosen? Who actually wished it was Careful instead? If you did, I'm sorry because if it was Careful, the next few chapters would make this "fairies" seem unwise!

If you can't see the clue, I'll reveal it in the next chapter and tell you the clue too:D
