Part 12 - Realisation

I had to write this twice and was really upset but hopefully, it still is okay. I know I have been off for a long time. I marked this book complete but will continue to be posting. I have a lot of problems recently and feel the need to explain it. 

I'm quitting my compulsary CCA - Band - for an easier one. At least I'm trying to. I'm scared of the outcome. I plan a lot of things for myself next year - plans for Wattpad is included. For the last remaining chapters, I would be slowly posting them but rest assured - they will be completed by today. Yes, I have drag this book for a month and I'm really sorry. It was supposed to be completed on the 30th of November but some unfortunate events happen.

I'm posting my new story in June too, please support me. What will I do in between January to May end? Nothing. Just some writing here and there, plus posting some poems. I have many to be sent out. I'll also be writing my new book on paper first before posting here:)

Now enjoy the last chapter you'll see from me until next month:) I tried to make it longer to make up for my absence. I was suppose to be 500 words only.

Melinda's POV

Colette walk up to Thomas before saying, "Well now, don't start screaming your head off. You had to pass those test for a purpose. Not for fun. Now you want to know why I assume?"

"Certainly," he replied and Skyline - being the sensible one - sighed softly before starting the story behind nymphs and CPs.

"Years back," she started, "CPs did not exist. Floreine was the first nymph ever, we all call her Flo. She was - is - beautiful even if she's gone. Her spirit teaches us what to do, she loved every single nymph after her until one day there was a nymph. Her name was Ivy."

Skyline sighed before softly continuing, "Ivy didn't like her power, she splitted it to six - Emotion, Soul, Land, Sky, Ocean, Element. In the way of splitting her power, she made another - Connection. For years, the connection magic lived on its on - thinking they were not enough worthy people to find it until Moonlight came, it found her worthy of the power and chose her."

Moonlight smiled before Skyline continued telling the story to a horrified Thomas knowing the CP trainee beat him, "The rest of the 6 magic kept choosing new fairies, tittling them nymphs. One time, 6 of them chose wrongly. These 6 girls didn't want to be the protectors or have the magic. They hired 6 people to fake themselves as CPs and killed themselves. The 6 magic when on the finding new fairies but nymphs was never known to the world again. That's where we come in..."

She trailed of, slightly breathless from talking. I continued for her, "Floreine was upset. She kept wishing and wishing that nymphs will once surface and let people know nymphs existed. She made a mistake, out of greed, she wished the Xigix citezens get punished. Her sister, Sophia found out. Sophia was a nymph too, after her sister...she wished the 6 nymphs that Xigix will learn to know will spare their citizens."

I smiled before letting Colette continue, "That's right. Sophia wished we were able to restore Xigix and we did but we don't want the role of protectors, we're kinda the back-up plan. That was Sophia's wish, I guess the nymphs respected her more than they will ever respect Flo because of one mistake Flo made."

Thomas nodded and shook his head, porbably disappointed at how fate allowed the fate of Xigix to be decided by 6 "immature" teenagers. He signaled for the CPs to follow them, somehow knowing Moonlight quitted. She didn't belong there, she said to Thomas and her was furious but I guess all things have to end.

Things took a better for us, people got to know us and liked us. We accepted their attention but still like to keep to ourselves. It is funny how things like these can bring 7 girls together - that's right, Moonlight is with us now and we will all be returning to school soon.

I guess, some things do change and I won't forever be a loner in school. I can't wait for graduation now and start my life as a painter/artist - it happen that my life is starting to take a turn for the better and may paintings are selling great.
