Do note that I may not really stick to the updating schedule because I’m very very busy and lacking behind time to do things! I have a whole schedule planned out and I may not be writing some stories like plannedL
Sorry for the change in POVs too>
*Moonlight’s POV*
I looked at the scroll again and felt my knees shaking under my weight. I felt weak all of a sudden and my mouth dry. The CPs spent so much time to get the scroll but it was really nothing – just a useless mirror but I don’t think they will believe me.
I thought back to our journey, what we went through together. How Careful changed and discovered herself, how we learnt many things from each other and understood that no one is perfect. I even remembered how I solved mysteries.
Like the one when I realised the bubble around us to aid us to get to the bottom or how I used my powers to stop everyone’s illusion by noticing the connection between people’s connections and the candle. Everything in this journey had a connection and then it hit me…
I just need to summon these nymphs using my powers and I could because I already done it before, I should be able to do it again if I tried harder.
I concentrated my energy on the main gate but found no sign of life. I searched everywhere – nothing. I bit my lip.
Come on Moonlight, you can do this. I told myself silently. I concentrated hard and I found another door – the door that leads to the final clue. I got up happily and went in, scared by the darkness but excited to finally be able to save Xigix.
However, in the room was nothing but four words…
The magic in You.
It wasn’t a riddle, a mystery I had to solve but it was my very answer and I understood that. I was just that close to finding the magical nymphs. I smiled to myself as I focused my power on the space in the ‘o’ of the You.
*Melinda’s POV*
The door in front of us opened up and the nymphs and I exchanged looks of excitement – none of us thought someone will find her without us telling but a part of us know that she doesn’t know why she could do it.
She basically knows that she can but doesn’t know why.It was actually quite amusing. We all smiled at her and she smiled back, you could tell that she was nervous and excited to meet us – nymphs that people talk only last in books.
“You are the keepers that we met, aren’t you?” she asked in wonder, “I should have guessed…”
Many of you guessed but doubted it, I silently replied to her comment and she may have guessed my thoughts because she nodded at me.
“I got to go though and I know what to do this time. Wish me luck!” she winked at us before turning back and diving through a portal, right back into the CPs’ office.
The nymphs and I saw her through our globe telling the CPs exactly what to do and we all felt proud for her, she’s starting to realise who is she – the way I realised who I am.
