Deku's POV~
"I think I'm stuck" I said, slightly embarrassed by this. Bakugou sighed before removing his hand from my hair and moving it to my arm. "Squat down and I'll step over your arms" He instructed, which I began to comply with. As I squatted down to where I was in front of his knees. He then continued to step over my arms and escape my grip.
I stood back up once more as I looked to Bakugou for what to do next. "I suppose we should start heading to our next destination" Bakugou said as he picked the chain up, glancing at me. I nodded as he began leading me out of the shelter, as he waved to the kids who had noticed our departure. Soon enough we had exited the dark tunnel and out into the chilly night.
I wasn't necessarily being dragged this time due to my not hesitating at every corner. However, this time we seemed to be heading a different direction then back to the bar. After passing through the rubble they came upon an abandoned, or what seemed, building. Bakugou walked up the steps to the door, hesitation in his movement. He opened the door as I could slightly feel Bakugou's grip tighten before walking in and closing the door behind him, locking it.
We moved through the halls, Bakugou's seemingly unsettlement causing me to feel unsafe and worried. They soon came to a set of stairs which the began climbing. They reached the third floor Bakugou seemed to relaxed slightly, approaching the hall network. This floor seemed more clean and liveable than the first one I've seen. We took a few turns, Bakugou now paying attention to the numbers on the room before stopping in front of a room with the number "394" engraved on the door.
He took a key out of his pocket and put it into the lock. He turned it, unlocking the door and pushing the door open. He walked in, turning on the light as he did, revealing a clean apartment room. It was open are, having its kitchen and living room connected, and three doors. I assumed that two of the doors lead to a bathroom and bedroom to some degree. The place was furnished with a few basic pieces, a hide-a-bed, TV, side table, and so forth.
Once we were both in Bakugou turned around and closed the door, locking it back up before turning back to me.
"This is my apartment. The bathroom is the door to the side of the kitchen and the bedroom in the door closest to the living room section. This door next to the exit is a closet. You'll be staying with me for the time being until we get a few things figured out. You'll be sleeping in the bedroom, there are some spare clothes in there that you can wear. If you get hungry just ask before you eat whatever is in the fridge. Otherwise, make yourself at home. Just don't leave this apartment without me" Bakugou explained.
He then pulled another key out of his pocket and grabbed my wrists that were chained together. He unlocked the lock which connects the chains and taking them off, showing small indents on my wrists. He then walked away and placed the chains and lock on the counter that separated the kitchen area for the living room.
I rubbed my wrists as I glanced around. This place didn't resemble any place I knew but gave a small sense of comfort but, I wouldn't call it home.
"I'm going to be making a pizza for dinner, any personal preferences?" He asked.
"I've never had it, my mother prepared more traditional meals growing up" I replied confused slightly.
"It's an Italian dish that is easy to make. It's bread with tomato sauce on it, topped with toppings that usually consist of cheese and some types of meat like pepperoni or sausage" He tried to explain. It didn't sound all too bad tasting.
"Well, what type do you like?" I asked, watching him as he walked up to the fridge and looking at what frozen pizzas he had.
"Well, from what we have I would personally eat the sausage pizza" Bakugou commented as he looked.
"Well, I could eat that" I said smiling slightly, feeling welcomed here.
"Alright then" Bakugou somewhat sighs as he pulls the frozen pizza up and prepares the oven.
