Izuku's POV~
That was all but two weeks ago, and things still didn't seem the same. The League seemed to have all but disappeared. From what I've heard, the only thing that rescue missions seemed to benefit them was arresting this All For One character. I personally never met him when with Kaachan but from what the news said, he was the mastermind of the group and didn't give up much of a fight.
The League may be gone now but Kaachan stayed, for his or his parents' well being I have yet to know. The Bakugou family has become the hot spot for news reports and papers, wanting to know how the mystery boy came to the rescue of the kidnapped U.A. kid, where he was, and how his parents feel. It was covered as a heroic story of the ages, the boy who saved and escaped. We were questioned together, for some reason, but I allowed Kaachan to create the cover story.
From what he said, we were both kidnapped at different times. With the rescue as a distraction to escape with his childhood friend. He made it sound like he thought the heroes were more villains that didn't like the League. They bought it and left the case solved and villains to arrest.
U.A. had installed dorms that we now stay in, along with visiting hours and bedtime. When I got to school I was practically trampled by most of my classmates with questions and concerns. My friend group seemed to stick to me like glue, seeming to not leave my side through most of my day. Todoroki would sometimes still join me on my way to the bathroom, which was very awkward and made me appreciate the stalls in the bathroom.
I would still see Bakugou though. He'd visit me now and again to check in, though it was clear he wasn't comfortable with me. Though I couldn't tell if it was our history or the kidnapping situation. He'd tell me about his parents and ask to be about school life, I'd tell him about my day and ask him about his job. Yeah, he got a job. He worked as a cashier which he wouldn't be able to do a year ago. He tells me sometimes how some people make him turn back into "a brat", in his words.
I've tried to get him to make friends with my classmates, which he considered but not many stuck. One he did become somewhat fond of was Kirishima. Kirishima has been amazed by Bakugou in a sense, how he was so disrespectful and mellowed out, saying "that's so manly!" So I guess if you don't like who you are, your just one tragic, life-changing problem from becoming brand new.
Bakugou's POV~
I've been staying with my parents. They have been clinging me like flies on honey, which I can't blame them. At times that were sometimes too close but I never had the heart to push them away. It's obvious that they have seen my changes but they never have pointed it out. I think they're just too happy to have me back that they don't care how I act.
After the attack on the bar, the League has been hidden from everything, as if they disappeared. They've had to find a new base of operations. Unfortunately, the police did arrest someone. All for One, itchy neck's teacher, was taken away to let the villains escape. The league has been thinking about involving Deku in our work from time to time, which is annoying. We agreed the kidnapping was all we'd do but now itchy neck thinks that he can convince others to the same mindset and plan. I'm worried about the future too but I'm not making him do anything.
The dog is still with me. I've named him after what I wanted my hero name to be, King Explosion Murder, but King is easier. Mom loves him to death, saying he's the second cutest thing in this household, though I can't tell if she thinks I'm the cutest or she is. I'm planning on bringing King with me to see Deku tomorrow, I need to relay information from the itchy neck.
All Might POV~
There has to be something missing here. All for One gave himself up to easily. Was Young Bakugou the figure that ran away or were they at a second location? I've been working with the investigators for two weeks now and still can't find the answer. Even weirder was when Young Midoriya asked me that question.
Flash back~
"Hey All Might" he had called to me.
"Yes Young Midoriya?" I asked.
"Is it possible that the flaws in the hero system hurt someone?" He asked.
" Well, yes. Sometimes people make mistakes and threats are guilty until proven not, which I've never liked. But, everything in life has flaws and our actions have drawbacks. Why do you ask?" I quizzed
"Oh nothing, I was just wondering because there's a lot of" he paused for a moment before quickly picking his speech back up "stuff on the news is all!"
End of flash back~
It seemed odd as if he had hidden something. I wanted to ask him about it but guessed I shouldn't. Now I regret it because it could have been helpful to this case.
"There is still so much I'm missing" I sigh.
