The Other Realm

Chapter 1

Sitting on the bar stool at o'Mangas listening to my friends talk about this "other" realm that we have come in contact with makes me wonder what its like there. Are they nice, do they look like us, do they smell, judge like us?

"Liam...Liam..Liam..WILLIAM!"

"Aghh...what Dolton?" I say clearly annoyed at my bestfriend after being elbowed in the side. "who do you think is right?" he asked "about what?" "Dude were you not paying attention? We were arguing about who is hotter, Melonie widman or Jannas Kooper. I think Jannas kooper because of her Tits. while the dumbass over there thinks Melonie Widman." Clark another one of my friends says. "well dude which one?"

"Definitely Jannas Kooper" I say, not really paying attention "Damn right!" Clark says while giving me a high five.

The truth is I have never really thought of woman as "hot" or attractive, the thought has never crossed my mind. I mean sure some of them are beautiful no doubt in my mind but I have never had the urge to "get" with one of them as clark would say.

~Time skip~

The next day I wake up with a massive hangover, courtesy of Dolton. Note to self never get a drink with Dolton again.

Its currently 6:15 in the moring and I'm getting ready for work. I profession in law and you wouldn't believe all of the shit cases people bring to me.

After getting ready I take a look at my self in the mirror, many people think that I have it all, the looks the money, but to me I just see me. I have dirty blonde hair, bright green eyes, and a some muscle(he is one of the elves so just imagine him with pointy ears). Some say where I live, has a big affect on people too, I live in Gastonia(the La of the realm they are in) and I mean sure its a nice area but its not like I live in a mansion. No. instead I have a 2 bedroom apartment with noisy neighbors.

My phone rings bringing me out of my train of thought, I look at the caller ID and see Doltons name. Glancing over at the clock it reads 6:37, I quietly whisper to myself what the hell is he doing up this early. I answer the phone With a subtle hello.

"Hey man listen so I might of went home with some chick last night and I need a ride." Dolton says clearly embarrassed. "and I suppose you think I am just willing to come and pick you up?" I say with a smirk on my face knowing that my friend was desperate. "please man, c'mon I'll do anything please. I gotta get to the office by 7:15 for the meeting, please man" " Yeah yeah ok I'll come get you just stop complaining my head already hurts and I dont need it hurting anymore" I say in a jokingly manner.

After picking Dolton up and dropping him off at home I step into the law firm ready for another wonderful day at work, before I am quickly yelled at by a man wearing a military uniform to stop, so I do. Two other men quickly come over and take my by the arms and drag me out of the building. What a wonderful way to start the day!
