"What do you mean I was Ragnarok!?"
You frantically got up and grabbed your clothes together, putting them over your body. He did the same but slower, not seeming bothered.
"And who the fuck is Loki!?"
"I am. And we were Ragnarok."
"What else have you been hiding from me?"
"You and I, we destroyed entire colonies. Entire kingdoms. We killed several hundred Gods with our bare hands. You were exiled and stripped of your memories and Godly Title. Sent down to earth to suffer by my father, Odin."
You were in awe. To think you were once a god was ridiculous. Is he sick in the head? Playing some fucked up joke just to make you feel better or special. He can't just do this to you, stress you out like this. You walked your way over to him, grabbing and holding him still, connecting your foreheads. You searched and searched through his mind and consciousness. Everything he'd said was true.
You were a force of absolute power, instilling terror into all that knew of your name. You took dozens of Gods and crumbled them in your hands. You'd never do any of this. According to Corey- I mean- "Loki", you and him knew each other from a very young age, inseparable. He was found by his father Odin and adopted into their family. He had often misbehaved as a young child, coming to you for comfort and solidarity. It wasn't until your late teens, or- the god equivalent to a teen, that you had gained a romantic interest in him. Loki, god of mischief. The two of you vowed to protect each other, stay by each other's sides. You even started dating for a while, chasing each other around his palace, playing hide and seek like children, shapeshifting into people to play tricks. He couldn't remember when but eventually something changed in you, a completely different outlook on life. You yearned for power and chaos. It made sense given that you were the god of war and chaos. You'd always wondered that surely there was more to life than just existing in Asgard. You wanted to rule, to conquer and to have God's bow to you. It took a lot of thinking and you thought that if you wand Loki were meant to be then he'd be by your side. For a while, that was the case. Behind closed doors you'd plan on what you two called "Ragnarok: the fall of gods" at first you overthrew small kingdoms outside of Asgard's circle. But you grew hungrier. You wanted to kill Odin, god of gods. If you were to slay Odin where he stood you'd them be god of gods. Untouchable. Which Loki by your side. Now that you were thinking about it- it seemed like something you would do. Something you'd excel at. Sitting away behind a desk, working an office job 9-5- no! You'd be wasting your gifts, you were a gift, a god among men. You'd have to finish what you'd started.
"Core- loki, you're taking me to Asgard."
"What!? We can't go to Asgard they'll kill you! Besides my parents and brother think I died looking for you after your exile. I can't go back."
"You, Loki god of mischief, are taking me to Asgard wether you fucking like it your not."
You had him by the throat, pinning him against the hotel wall. He had fear in his pale jade eyes. Your hands released their grip and he dropped back on his feet, he kissed you rough and fast.
"Look, I love you (Y/N) but we can't go back"
"I- We started something, Loki. So we're going to fucking finish it. Hand in hand, we'll rule Asgard till our last fucking breath, do you hear me?"
He was in absolute shock. Rule Asgard? When he was younger and dumber it seemed like it would work, like the two of you would prosper and live in a world of death and carnage. It wouldn't work. It just wouldn't.
~it will work. I'll make it work~
You were in his mind. Reassuring him.
"AHH. I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF MY FUCKING BRAIN AND NOW SEE WHERE IT'S GOTTEN US!" Screaming and pushing you, he was stressed.
"Oh so it's my fault we connected via you shoving your cock in me!? We will destroy and kill every god, Demi god, halfling and mutant we come across! If you don't want to join me your blood will be the first to stain my hands!"
"Fine. What more do you want from me?"
"For you to be by my side, Loki. What kind of monarch would I be without a king?"
"Fuck it. We're going."

~

Was this it? He'd taken you to Asgard and, to the surprise of many people, Odin had forgiven you. You were introduced to Loki's brother, Thor and to a woman named Valkyrie. Of course they weren't surprised which Loki's sudden resurrection because, according to his brother: "this hasn't been the first and won't be the last time he'll fake his death."
It was easy pretending that you weren't going to stain the floors of this palace red and gold. Valkyrie lead you to a room with a large plush bed and left you to your business. A suit of armour stood in the corner of the room, silver with gold accents and green gems.
Ugly.
The first thing you'd do is replaced that god awful armour. On the bed were some regal clothes, according to Thor you and Loki were to dress your best for tonight as they were hosting a feast in your honour. It surprised you that a city would applaud your re-entry after you'd performed the biggest massacre in Norse god history.
The outfit was- nice?
It consisted of some black satin trousers lined in gold and tapered into the ankle; a long sleeved, black satin shirt, tight around the wrists, and some black and gold- boots? You couldn't really describe them but all in all the outfit wasn't half bad.
You'd discussed with Loki that tonight was the night.
Ragnarok: the fall of gods.
