Chapter 4

We got on the elevator and entered. The back of the elevator was glass that allowed a view outside the building. It was when we noticed a presence that made us turned around. Sitting in the corner was a... Metal man, hmmm? No, a little Cybertonian, I corrected myself. He had beautiful bright optics and silver plating with bits of gold.

"Who the hell are you?" asked Cade.

"Aren't you a rude, human." said the mech in a voice that made him sound like an upright British butler. "and that is not surprising." I noticed that he stared at me.

"If you're staring at my pregnant belly, stop it."

Sam was pushing me behind him. "The evil sorceresses will come for you and your sparkling."

I gripped Sam's arm. "Who?"

"Yes, she kills, any Cybertonian who defies, our principals. And whoever, your sparkmate is defiled our way by mating with you."

We weren't having a good day. Our hiding place has been found. Megatron is coming after us. And now this robot was telling me that I'm going to be killed.

"Is it really uncommon for human and Cybertronian relationships?"

"Master, Witwicky, it's the way, our race lives. To keep our race existing we mate with our own kind." Cade went to grab the mech, but he got out of the way and started throwing punches at him.

"Eh! what's your deal?"

"So you want to play rough, huh?"

The elevator dinged and the doors opened. We were all greeted to a sight of five TRF drones. The silver mech moved out of the way as the drone flew forward and collided with Cade, throwing him out of the glass window of the elevator. He hung on for dear life as the drone tried to correct its flight but could not with the added weight. We shouted from the elevator, but Cade could not hear what was being said over the drone's motor. The thing flew him into the side of building. We honestly thought he was going to lose his grip and fall to his death. The other four drones came towards Sam and I smashing into the wall of the elevator. Sliding down, but, the drones ripped from the wall and launched out thick black ropes. It wrapped around my ankles and wrists, pulling me out in seconds. I was dangling in the air while was Sam screaming my name. A small red dot appeared on my forehead, and instantly I knew what the red dot meant.

"Lily! Hang on!" Sam shouted.

"I don't have much of a choice!" Sam fired his gun at the drone, but the drone dodged it.

"Sam! Take the damn shot again!" I cried out. Sam tried again but the second drone came out at him from the left. Sam pulled the trigger and the bullet ricocheted hitting me, it hurt like hell.

A blue pulse of energy suddenly came out of my body and the pain was slowly disappearing.

Is my son healing me?

If it wasn't for my sparkling, the bullet would have torn through my body. I heard Cade shouting my name, he ran towards the end of the roof. In the end, he jumped up, using two drones as stepping stones before landing on top of the drones that had me. My heart was racing as Cade cut me free from the rope. The descent to the ground was bouncy, and it hurt when we slammed into the ground, but Cade broke my fall and I sighed in relief. We were alive.

We sat up to see the silver mech running towards us.

"Ah! There you are. Good to find you alive. Just like nothing happened," the mech said before pulling out a brush and began dusting us off.
