I know I've been missing for a hell a lot of days. I am so sorry for that.
My phone broke and I lost my account.
I tried to recover my account.. even wrote 7 feedbacks .. LOL😂
Now finally I got it back. I will be updating regularly.
Forgive me once again and enjoy the story 😀
Bela's POV:-
I wiped the last drop of tears from my eyes and looked the clock. It was almost midnight. Mahir didn't return home. Fear started to run through my veins and my heart was thumping non-stop.
What if he had met her?...will she be the destruction of our marriage?.
No, I won't leave him. I won't leave him for any cost.
But what if he leaves me?
I heard the opening noise of my bedroom door. It was Vish in grandma form. As soon as she locked the door, she became normal.
Slowly she came and sat near me, she noticed my tears.
"Bela, what happened?. Why are you crying?"
What can I say....
That I love a cold-blooded murderer who killed my mom.
************FLASHBACK************
"Ruhi!! Where the hell are you?" a woman in her mid 40s shouted.
"Coming mom" Ruhi(now Bela) came running towards her mom.
"How many times should I say to you that don't leave the work in middle. Such a irritating girl" she said as if she doesn't care.
"But mom..." She was cut off in middle.
"No buts.. if you're going to be the queen of snakes, you should definitely be an extraordinary person with no flaws. Here you are being a lazy goose.
I can't believe you're my daughter"
Tears started to brim in Ruhi's eyes. Her mom noticed her teary eyes.
"You can't even control your emotion. How are you going to control thousands of snakes. Stop being a cry baby and gear up. You need to finish the chores before sunset. Am I making it clear?" Her mom shouted.
With a mere nod Ruhi left the room. She couldn't control the tears which are strolling down her eyes. While cleaning the basement she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't feel bad Ruhi.. everything is happening for a reason. You need to be strong".
"How can I vish.. after all these insults from my own mother, how can I be strong?" She turned around facing vish.
" You are the future queen of..."
Before vish could finish it Ruhi cut her off in middle.
"I am fed up with this dialogue. Mom always says I'm the future queen but she never treats me like one, I am working here like a maid. Since papa and little sister died , she has been cold towards me."
Her dad and sister were killed during an attack by humans. Half of the snakes were killed, including Vish's parents. They couldn't get their revenge as the murderers covered their faces with a hood.
"My dear Ruhi, don't worry about this, I'm here to help you. We will finish these chores together"
"I am so happy that I have you as my friend Vish"
"Stop being emotional and lets do the work. We'll show how perfect we are with our work"
Ruhi nodded her head in agreement and they began their usual chores.
Since they both are in basement they can't hear anything.
A Naagin came towards them with tears strolling down her face and she looked like a panicked person.
"Ruhi... I-Its.. its" she started to cry loudly.
Ruhi rubbed her back to make her calm and asked "what happened?"
"Queen was killed" after saying so the snake cried like the world has come to an end.
"W-what?.. don't play with me. I'm not in a mood for this"
"No.. it's true"
Ruhi sat down with tears streaming down her beautiful face. She couldn't believe it. Her mother was absolutely fine a while ago.. she was even scolding her for not doing the work properly. Now this news broke her completely. Vish on the other hand closed her mouth with both of her hand and began to sob.
Suddenly when Ruhi came back to her sense she ran like a mad woman.
Vish followed her fearing she might do anything to herself. Ruhi didn't care about the things that were in the middle, she ran towards the Queen's chamber.
Her mom laid there lifelessly with her eyes opened. The chamber was filled with her mom's blood. Every other snakes who were there with her mom were also killed. Barely 5 to 6 snakes were alive apart from them.
She sat down beside her mom and laid her mom's head on her lap. "Mom why did you leave your girl alone. Say mom... Even though you scolded me I always yearned for your love. When dad and little sister left me, I always thought that my mom is there for me. Now I'm crying here alone. Please mom say anything. I am begging you please wake up... I can't be alone without you mom. Scold me as much as you want but don't leave me.... Please" She poured her heart out and cried.
When she saw her mom's eyes it was very clear. A group of people with guns in their hands came inside the chamber and shot every one in that room. A man who was in his twenties turned around and pointed the gun towards her mom. He shot her chest. When the group successfully finished their job they exited the chamber.
She remembered each and every person's face. Especially the person who killed her mom.
It was none other than Mahir Sehal...
And his disgraceful family.
