Mahir's POV:-
I was so happy, today was the best day in my life. I wish this could continue forever. I know that Bela enjoyed this equally as me. After the dinner, we ordered chocolate ice cream for our dessert.
"So Bela..."
"Mhmm.." she replied with mouth full of chocolate ice cream.
"Did you enjoyed the day?"
"Yes, a lot"
"Good.. uhmm.. have you ever had this candle light experience before?" I was curious because she is so beautiful and someone might have asked her for a date before our marriage, not that I'm jealous.
"No, this was my first time". She replied honestly. "What about you?"
"Honestly this is my second time" I should be truthful with her so I didn't lie in this situation.
"With whom you had it first?"
"Ritu, actually mom made the arrangements. I just went there and ate.. nothing romantic"
She laughed.. "what's the point of having a candle light dinner without any emotions"
"That's what I asked my mom.. she said you'll get to know each other. But she was right"
"You guys got to know about each other?"
"No.. but today it became true"
She blushed and gave me a cute smile.
"Was she your first love?"
"No, she was my close friend. My point is friends can't become lovers. It won't be nice"
"Then who was your first love?"
"You"
Did I just confess my love to her straight
"But.." she was about to say something but my phone rang again ruining our best moment. I saw the caller ID, it was my mom.
I was really mad but I controlled my anger as it is not appropriate to lash out at your mom.
"Hello" I answered calmly
"Mahir beta" she started to whimper.
"Mom what happened..why are you crying?"
"Beta, Rehan...." Saying this she sobbed aloud.
"What happened to him"
She didn't answer my question and kept on crying.
"Mom please calm down and say what happened?"
"Rehan left us beta"
"What do you mean by left us?"
"H-he died"
"How? "
"Please come home soon we'll tell when you reach here" she disconnected the call
Though Rehan was our family friend I treated him as my brother. I cared him from the childhood. We both used to play football for hours. I still remember whenever he get into any trouble he'll come running towards me for help. I felt empty as sadness started to consume my mind.
"Mahir what happened?" Bela tapped on my shoulder
"Huh"
"I was calling you for five minutes, but you didn't respond anything. What happened?"
I stared at her for few minutes.
Bela's POV:-
"Go and pack your things" he replied blankly.
"Why?"
"Don't ask me questions. Just go and pack your bags." He said in a dominating voice.
"I won't leave until you say the reason"
"Just pack your bags damn it" he roared with full of anger.
Tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
I ran towards our room and started packing up. I couldn't stop this stupid tears.
Why am I so weak
Then I understood. I wasn't weak, I was strong for so long.
He definitely has a bipolar disorder. At one second he was confessing his love at another second he was shouting with anger. I almost packed everything. That's when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Bela, I'm sorry. I know.. I shouted at you but when mom said it I couldn't control" I noticed that his eyes was brimming with tears but he controlled it from falling down.
"Rehan was like my brother. We used to do a lots of things together. But when she said he's gone, I couldn't take it.. that's why I.."
"What? How did he die" I was so shocked. Because Vish said that she buried him and she also said his body is missing. How did they find it?.
"I don't know, Mom didn't say. My world is falling apart right now" he sounded so sad. I wanted to comfort him so I hugged him. And started to soothe him with my words.
When the cruise reached the shore, we both got down and boarded in our car. As soon as we reached the bunglow. We packed our bags and went to the airport.
The flight journey went out in a silence. I Know he needs some time to cope up. My doubt is, he is feeling so much for a family friend then how would he feel for his own family.
But I'm not going to leave my plans for his sake. I will finish each and every one in his family as they finished mine. I will not cease until my mission is completed
