Innocent love [Silver x Reader]

Chapter 3: Our Meeting

Silver smiled at just the female's sweet yet soothing voice. He could only admire how much she had to go through after him selfishly leaving her behind. The white hedgehog began to hear a knock as their conversation was interrupted.

"Ah that must be him," Y/n said with a smile as she stood up properly and head to the door.

"Oh? And who's him?" Asked Silver out of curiosity.

Y/n smiled at the white hedgehog as she opened the door with a small remark that could only leave the hedgehog with a shock expression.

"It's my boyfriend," y/n said as the door opened.

A male figure who's quills were up, Gray highlights as he had no mouth, he looked like a normal hedgehog except with having no mouth. Silver's eyes widen at the sight of what he saw. He stood up and could feel the tense atmosphere on how the female had introduced the male as a 'beloved' of hers.

"Hello there," greeted the male figure.

Silver still in shock as he knew the small glare that was being hit on him from the other hedgehog that was in the household.

"The names is Mephiles, Mephiles the dark," stated the hedgehog as his name was announced by him.

Silver was just in shock as he wondered how the innocent female could fall in love with such a monster and way opposite of her.

Silver could just smile with a weak glance on how it all happened.

"Mind explaining how you two.. opposites ended up together?" Asked the white hedgehog wanting an explanation.

Y/n smiled as he went ahead and replied to him on what he had missed.

The female was looking around the houses that were already destroyed. As she was searching for anymore people she fell upon the forest, leading the amount of dead grass. A path where the flowers had died. Y/n took the opportunity to follow ahead and see what she missed, looking at it she could only end up in a place unknown.

"Lost my dear?" Asked a low voice.

"Yes, I was trying to see if anyone was still alive," replied the female as she was a bit startled by the sudden voice that the forest was surrounding her.

"Let me show you where the way out is," replied the low voice as a sudden dust and smoke began to emerge from the winds force.

Y/n scared of what was going on, she closed her eyes until she felt the wind settled down. Opening her eyes as she saw no other, but a hedgehog with no mouth, the male called Mephiles was revealed. A meeting how she didn't regret one bit.
As she was being lead out of the place, she thanked the male. She was in full gratitude yet curious on who the male was. It surprised her how kind he was being, after all she never knew what the male was up to. So y/n went again inside the forest, now purposely getting lost to see the male again. Each time she was lost in the forest, the male would know that the female come back to see him again. Taking a sudden interest on her actions he could only continue until he now saw who the female was and her real title that gave her purpose.

"My dear what is it that you desire from me? You keep coming back that I could only wonder what could be in your mind," stated the male as he sat underneath the tree where they could see the stars.

"You kept me at peace with my thoughts, after such a heart pain that I was suffering, wondering when that hedgehog would soon come back. You left a imprint of a safe cage for me. You kept me at ease and I only wish to repay my gratitude," replied the female in a formal manner.

"Then tell me the honest reason behind what you truly feel about me," requested the hedgehog as he touched y/n's hands.

Y/n turned around me saw the male now face to face. She smiled and leaned a bit towards him.

"Am I not being blunt enough? I fell for you," she replied as she leaned forward to give a small gentle kiss on the male's muzzle.

No mouth to kiss as she only place a small yet gentle kiss on Mephiles. Her only love of someone who is opposite of her own liking. Yet she never mind that. Only did she not know the consequences of what the outcomes of loving someone different from you. Someone who abuses that feeling of love.

It wasn't that the male abused his feelings, it's that he never understood how to love someone.

"I hope you aren't mad," replied Mephiles as the story was told.

Silver looked at the male in shock as he didn't want to hear anymore or the love birds. He stood up and nodded, unable to talk properly to even have a clear mind set.

"I'm sorry I have something to do, I should leave you two to catch up," silver said immediately before letting himself be excused to go back to the room he wished he stayed longer.

"Sonic she is literally with him! I don't know what to do about this!" Silver growled lowly as he had used a communicator to get in touch with Sonic.

Sonic on the other end was shock on the news he heard, both difficult and surprising to acknowledge. A small nod was sent as Sonic made the decision to help the white hedgehog and see what really is going on. Little did Silver knew that another hedgehog would come along.

"Didn't we destroy him?!" Growled out the hedgehog with black quills and red highlights.

"Yeah but it seems something stopped when fully destroying the guy! How could he have a girlfriend before me!" Called out Sonic.

Shadow only gave a glare at the blue hedgehog as he sighed and walked away

"I was joking! I don't want a girlfriend at all!... at least not yet anyway," Sonic mumbled as he followed behind the other male.

Shadow grabbed two emeralds and gave one to Sonic as he could only glare at him

"When this is over we are going to talk about the love life of Silver and his desire for a dead women and a women that is dating a literal murder," growled out Shadow with a sarcastic tone.

A flash of light hit the room as they were both gone, ready to fully know the whole story of what Silver is now going through.
