Chapter 4: Grumpy and Dumpy

"Woah you weren't kidding when you said he had a girlfriend,"

"Hell how did he even managed to make it that easy?"

"relax Silver, I can see that you are having lady trouble. It really would of been better if Amy or Rouge would be here, but we are experts right Shads?" Asked the blue hedgehog.

"I only came to know what really is that hedgehog planning," Shadow replied bluntly not caring about the white hedgehog and the female's relationship.

Silver let out a sigh until his ears sudden flatten behind with a bit of disappointment.

Hearing a loud explosion like sound both Mephiles and Y/n looked at the direction of where it came from. Seeing nothing, but a bush. They simply shrugged it off and continued their conversation before the small little accident interrupted them.

Shadow was near the blue hedgehog as he looked at him. Face fully on the ground and quills messy that some pieces of dirt could be spotted.

"You should of just said nothing instead of giving him a bad image in his brain," Shadow said.

Silver only stared at the two couple as he could only wonder what they were talking about. He continued to look as he knew very well it was wrong, but he felt a odd feeling of the dark hedgehog as he could just try to find a mistake to make him the villain again. Silver continued his path at where they were located, building through building across the street. They were simply just holding hands. Y/n drinking on the beverage the other had bought him as he just looked at the area that the female would point to. Silver could only feel a sting on his chest, gripping onto himself he closed one eye and just looked.

"Is he doing something to me?.. what's going on?" He asked himself.

Silver looked back at y/n he blushed and looked back at their hands, he was just mad that the male was stealing most of the attention of his best friend. After selfishly going in another dimension to save his world, only to sacrifice a long friendship with his own selfish need. Silver continued to spy on the couple until a familiar black and red hedgehog came in, Shadow looked at the male with crossed arms until he used his leg to stick out a bit. "Why did you do that for?" He groaned with a weak tone.

"One we need a plan to know what's wrong with Mephiles, two you are going to do it for us," shadow replied.

He could only sigh as they somehow had her agreeing to him and Mephiles properly knowing each other. As the darker shaded male was about to drink his beverage, he only let the straw poke against his muzzle as he was struggling. Silver could only hold back a laughter as he saw the flaws the male had, it was like looking at a child who was trying to open his mouth, but can't. Looking at the male he began to give up on his beverage and began a conversation.

"So a friend of Y/n?" Asked Mephiles.

"Oh um, yeah since childhood," Silver replied as the awkward conversation began.
