Sneaking through the halls

Shinso's view

We opened the door to find that the halls were nearly pitch black. We spent too much time hiding and our window of time was now near gone. I heard the moaning and groaning of some nearby zombies and shivered . " God those things are creepy" I muttered softly. Midoriya nodded before we closed the door again, unable to really see any danger or see much of our surroundings. " What should we do?" I asked softly. Midoriya thought for a minute before answering, " Well since they are hiding out at the bathrooms we can try and move when there is daylight tomorrow but... there is also the danger that they may leave first thing in the morning." He sighed softly. I nodded solemnly, not really wanting to go out anyway. We made some room and pushed everything to the back of the closet so we could have space to lay down. My stomach growled and I blushed sheepishly as Midoriya raised an eyebrow. "S-sorry.. my class didn't have any food to share and I was unsure weather or not the snack room on our floor was safe and really didn't want to risk it..." I apologized. "Sorry I don't have any snacks." Midoriya sighed softly. " No, it's fine " I replied with a small yawn. We laid down and soon started to doze off, the little light that slipped under the door disappeared as the sun finished setting and left us in pitch black darkness. Midoriya fell asleep before I did and I noticed that that he slept so soundly that you would think he hadn't slept in days and I guess who could blame him? This isn't exactly another normal day in school. Before I knew it my thoughts slowed down as well as my breathing and heartrate as I slept.

Time skip: Morning around 9:25

Midoriya's view

I slowly woke up to the light slipping under the door and to Shinso's soft snores. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes and slowly shook Shinso awake. He stirred slowly before peeking open an eye and looking up at me a bit lazily before jolting and sitting up. " Easy Shinso, It's just me." I reassured him. He relaxed and nodded. " D-don't tell me we have to go out now.." He sighed. " Sorry but that is the only way out of here." I responded. He only nodded and laid down again to look under the door and whispered, " It doesn't look like anyone is out there." I nodded as I grabbed a mop and broom handle and handing one to Shinso. He took it with hesitation before he tightened his grip on it. We slipped out the door and softly shut the door after us and we glanced around, our backs together as we surveyed our surroundings. " Looks all clear over here.." He whispered and I nod. " Clear over here." I replied. " Which hall should we use?" He asked. He had a fair point. There were two halls that we could take. The real question was which is safer? We wouldn't want to end up like half of the other students.. " Check that hall, I'll check over here." I whispered and felt him tense up before agreeing and taking a few hesitant steps forward and I moved to do the same. I poked my head around the corner only to find it empty so we would live. Or so I thought because I nearly died of a heart attack when I turned back only to see Shinso' s face almost right in front of me and as he saw I was going to scream in fear, he covered my mouth with a terrified expression. " Shhh!" He half whispered as I nodded and slowly removed his hand as I took deep breaths and calmed myself down before whispering " What's the status on your side?" . He shook his head. " That side is crawling with them. You.. were in a classroom right? I-I know because they are in a classroom and it looks like they are feeding on what...didn't make it out.." He whispered. I nodded and led him down my hall and we soon had to pass some classrooms with open doors and we took our time as we peaked in and moved silently to avoid any and all zombies that got left behind. We reached the bathroom what seemed like hours later but to be honest it was probably and hour or so.. we hesitated to move from place to place but once we reached the bathrooms, the make shift gate was closed and gave no hint if anyone was inside but if they were, most must have not made it inside judging from all the blood on the floor. " A-Aizawa-sensei! " I whispered, trying not to get the attention of any nearby zombies. The hall remained quiet except for the distant sounds of chewing and crunching. " T-Todoroki? Ochacko? Someone please open up!" I whispered but it must have been too loud because the chewing noises stopped and some sounds of what seemed like footsteps were coming our way. "O-oh no..M-Midoriya!" Shinso whispered in fear. "P-please open the gate!" I pleaded as the footsteps got closer. A face popped out of a door from the boys bathroom and I begged. " Open the gate please, they are coming for us!" I whimpered and begged. The person opened the door just enough for me to see a strand of familiar red hair and a row of sharp teeth. "Midoriya?" Kirishima whispered as he hurried to the gate and opened it for us before locking it back up and shoving us into the boys bathroom as the Zombies round the corner.Kirishima pulled us into the extensive bathroom that was complete with some showers and a row of sinks. As we went to the back of the bathroom, I noticed that a door was on a wall that would show the girl's bathroom if knocked down. The door was clearly unnatural and not there before. " Where does that door lead to?" Shinso asked as if he read my mind. " It's a door to lead to the Girl's bathroom. It is guarded by Miss Midnight." He responded as we neared the back of the bathroom to find Mr. Aizawa. He looked up and his eyes widened as he saw us. " Shinso? Midoriya?" He almost whispered as he rushed and held us. " oh thank god you two idiots are okay." he sighed. " Shinso, where is the rest of your class hiding out?" He asked but Shinso only shook his head and I guess Mr. Aizawa understood because he slowly pet his head. " How did you two make it through the night?" He whispered. I explained the way we kept hidden and why we had the mop and broom handles in our hands and finally how Kirishima let us in. Aizawa nodded and ruffled my hair. " Good work Midoriya. Now, Kirishima? Get Kaminari and Todoroki to inspect Shinso and Midoriya for bite wounds. " Aizawa smiled softly. Kirishima nodded and took us to a stall where Shinso first went in with Kaminari who was called along the way. Kirishima was in a corner near the door with a make-shift spear we had made when we first left the class.. ' Put him there to listen for surviors..' I guessed, that's how he heard us...A few minutes later I heard a ' clear' and a minute later, Shinso and Kaminari came out with red faces. Shinso more red than Kaminari's. " Y-your turn." Kaminari muttered as he lead Shinso back to our teacher. Todoroki lead me inside and shut the stall as he muttered. " Please remove your shirt.." I blushed deeply in shock and shook my head, backing up a bit in surprise. " Please I must inspect you for bite wounds.." He whispered softly and I think I saw his face turn red but in the dim light, I couldn't really tell. There is no way though! Todoroki never gets flustered! I sighed softly as I slowly removed my shirt, realizing that I changed in front of this guy during P.e all the time and it was silly of me to be embarrassed now. I let him walk around me, and inspect me for wounds, his eyes calm as always. " Good... you can put on your shirt but please remove your p-pants.." He murmured. I froze and blushed harshly. No. WAY. HE SAID THAT.
