Once upon a Zombie Apocalypse

Relaxing Thursday? No such thing.

Midoriya's view

"hey.. I think he's waking up.." A female called, though it was muddled and hard to understand. " He is?! Problem Child! Problem Child!" A male voice called. Who is it..? Why do they keep bothering me..? I'm so tired.. let me sleep.. I just want to rest.. " Oi. Deku." A meaner voice called. Who was that..? A friend..? oh.. haha yeah.. it was Kacchan.. why is he calling for me? What happened..? Oh yeah.. the building was coming down.. Damien.. got hurt.. Rei was crying.. screaming.. Mr. Aizawa.. it hurts.. what hurts..? I don't know.. I-I can't breathe.. It too much information.. my chest feels like its on fire.. " Hey he's breathing too fast!!" another voice called. Too fast..? You can't breathe too fast silly.. but why is it hurting..? I.. really can't ignore the pain now.. I-I ... I..-!!

Aizawa's view

He was flushed.. his breaths were nothing more than quick gasps of air.. he slept all evening last night.. and it was already going to be the after noon.. what if he never wakes up again..? Does he have a brain injury..?.. no.. no he has to wake up.. I gently laid my hand on his shoulder just as he flew into a sitting position, gasping and clutching his shirt. He must feel like he has asthma. " Midoriya. Deep breaths." I instructed, his breath slowly evening out and his face returning to its natural color. " That's it.. can you tell me what happened..?" I asked, wanting to know if he had suffered any brain damage because knowing him, he could sleep and magically end up with all his bones shattered. " Y-yeah.. Me, Damien and Rei were caught in the falling part of the building.. I used my quirk and Damien used his.. and we're safe.." he reported back. " Close enough.. " I chuckled and ruffled that green mess he called hair. " N-Need some help!!" Kaminari  called as he and the group that I sent with midnight to raid the Snack room, returned. A lone zombie was behind them but right on their tail, Kaminari was in the rear, shooing it away from the ladies as it tried to swipe at them only a few feet from the door. Ochako tried to rush past me, my hand flying out and blocking her path. " Let me float it! I need to contribute too!!" She demanded. My options were limited.. I had no other way to stop it.. then a little someone did something rather.. absurd.. " GET AWAY FROM THEM!!!!" Mineta yelled, throwing his sticky hair balls to the zombie and getting it stuck in place. " Oh yeah! Way to go Mineta!" Kaminari praised, the short purple pervert beaming proudly and for once, not talking about girls.. He was slowly changing.. " Tch." I heard from Ochako, a scowl on her face as she stormed back to her friends. I looked the zombie over noticing that it had.. a green tag..? and it didn't look like a student or teacher at UA.. I slowly went over and read the tag around its neck, careful of its swinging hands and its hungry mouth. " Subject 12 out of 30.. Group Chomper? ..? What the hell does that mean..? " I questioned myself, slowly inspecting it for clues. I stood in front of it, peering at the tag.. it seemed to have writing on the back.. but this guy won't stay still long enough for me to see.. Just as I was thinking of a plan to swipe it off him, I heard a small ruckus behind me. ' Must be the kids checking on Midoriya..' I concluded before I heard Ochako snap " Fine! Don't side with me! I'm going for fresh air!".  I turned my head to check what was going on, only to see she was facing the wrong way and sprinting towards me at full speed. " Hey stop!!" I yelled as she crashed into me, sending her to the floor and me stumbling backwards. 

Ochako's view

Oh god now I really messed up! I ran into my teacher because I wasn't looking where I was going!! " M-Mr. Aizawa I'm so sorr-" I began to apologize before i choked on my words. My teacher.. he was looking at me with wide blank eyes as the zombie bit into his shoulder.. " H-Help!!" I shouted and begged, Midnight rushing over and getting behind the zombie,pulling its hair back so it wouldn't rip Mr. Aizawa's shoulder open and used a cloth to gag  him, now making him less harmful, and  Mineta placing a hair ball on its mouth for good measure. Mr. Aizawa.. he was clutching his shoulder in agony as All Might gave him some cloth to cover it up with.. Everyone knows how it goes in zombie movies... if your bit.. you turn.. but this man.. I did that to him.. All because I was upset... how stupid am I..? The first thing they taught us about being a hero is to always check your surroundings and be aware of them.. I-I was just so upset that everyone else is pulling their weight one way or another and I'm... hiding ... like a baby.. He slowly wobbled to the classroom with the help of Midnight, groaning and gritting his teeth. He was mumbling something.. it sounded like.. ' Mic?' who's Mic..? wait.. I remember.. he has a husband.. and a daughter.. I just ruined his chances of seeing them again.. tears flooded my eyes as I went to him, ready to beg for his forgiveness.. " It's alright kiddo.. I'm alright.. It isn't your fault.. we all are under lots of stress.." He simply smiled as he pet my head with his good hand.  " okay.. now listen up... I know you guys would sneak scary movies in the dorms when we were in school.. so I bet you've seen your fair share of zombie movies..  you get bit.. you turn.. and yeah.. this might be like the movies.. but it might not be.. I mean.. how many of you have actually met a.. what do you call them.. Karen in the school that is supposed to be really mean, rich and bully you..? Aoyama but your hand down. Being told that you can't decorate your uniform with glitter does not mean someone is bullying you.. come one guys.. the closest one to match that description is Bakugo.. mean and a bully sometimes.." he chuckled, the class giggling softly as Bakugo huffed and scowled angrily.  " I want you guys to lock me up in the closet alright...? Leave me some paper and a pen.. I'll write some instructions and slide them under the door before I go to sleep in case I.. you know.. " he sighed softly, tears poking at the corners of his eyes. 

3rd person pov

The students trembled as Mr. Aizawa went around the room, petting everyone on the head and wishing them the best.. even the students who didn't have him as a teacher were nearly in tears.. he had grown to become their stable father figure in all this mess.. and now they were going to lose him..Class 1A had no shame in crying and threatening to resurrect him only to kill him again if he died turn or die.. they clung to him desperately, trying to delay the inevitable.. they loved him.. they knew he had a family.. now they won't see him again.. " I-It's going to be okay..! I-I mean.. the movies said that we were going to have parties and get into mischief with drinking and such..! B-but look at us! W-we only study and train.." Jirou sniffled as she tried to lighten the mood. " Y-yeah! M-Mr. Aizawa is going to be just fine!" Midoriya agreed as Aizawa started to send the children to sleep, just like babies. They fell one by one with the help of Midnight.. They laid on the cool floor with tears staining their cheeks, All Might shutting the door for the night and locking up. " Looks like its the end of the road.. huh Midnight..? " Aizawa chuckled halfheartedly as he grabbed some papers and a pen. " You'll be fine.. because if your not, then I just might snatch up your daughter and spoil her to bits.. " She sniffled as she hugged her co-worker. " Go right ahead.. she deserves it.. she deserves the world.. and.. tell Mic to watch his voice.. he can be a little loud.. " Aizawa chuckled softly. " Will do.." Midnight whispered softly as she released him. " Hey.. All Might.. Watch over these goblins for me would ya..? I need them to get home to their families.. " Aizawa called over. " Haha.. sure thing.. I'm sorry that you can't be there to see them.." All Might responded quietly. " Me too.. imagine seeing how happy their parents would be.. but.. the ones we lost.. we can't get them back... " Aizawa whispered as guilt and pain took their toll on his tired mind. " Listen here you caterpillar.. you might sleep instead of teach.. and we might have lost a few.. but everyone knows that you love these children to bits even when you say you don't.." All Might chuckled, his eyes watery and vision blurry. " Haha.. maybe I do.. Just keep them in line for me.. It was an honor working with you all.." Aizawa bowed, showing his respect to them one last time before the went into the closet.. had Midnight lock the door.. and used his flashlight, papers and pen to start his work.. even if he couldn't be with them when they reached safety.. he would make sure he could help them in the after life..
