"ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ. sᴀʏ. ᴀɴʏᴛʜɪɴɢ."

I sat on the bunk, unsure of what to do next. I sensed someone else was in the room, probably on the bunk underneath me. I looked around, inspecting every visible object.
Small knick-knacks and toys filled almost every surface, a thin layer of dust just beginning to settle.
"Peter! Dinner!" A woman yelled.
"Coming!" A boy called back. Peter, I assumed. Perhaps he was the woman's son.
The boy got to the doorway before stopping. I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I could already tell he sensed my presence. And how would I explain how I got into his room, onto his bed, in a full superhero suit without him noticing? I didn't even know if superheroes existed in this universe.
I silently got off the bunk, as the boy slowly turned around. I saw him inhale, probably to yell for his mother, but I slapped my hand over his mouth before he could say anything. I glared right into his eyes.
"Don't. Say. Anything." I spoke through a clenched jaw. "Things will be better for both of us if you just go eat dinner, pretend like no one's in here, come back, and let me explain."
He raised his arm, attempting to tear my hand away from his mouth, and he was surprisingly successful. I almost never meet people whose strength can rival my own. Still, he barely managed to get my hand away from his mouth.
"Just trust me." I whispered. "Please..."
I saw him examine my suit, specifically the spider logo on my chest. He seemed flustered, but nonetheless silently turned around, and shut the door behind him. I was shocked at how easily he complied. He had no reason to trust me. I was just a random girl who showed up dressed like a superhero and told him to hide my presence from his family.
As I waited for the boy to return, I went over the facts. So far, all I knew was that, for some reason, when I teleported, I was put into a teenage boy's room.
Did this universe have a hero with a suit like mine? The truth was, I knew nothing about this place. As for the mysterious boy, I could guess his name was Peter, I knew he was as strong as me, and that was the extent of my knowledge.
A few minutes passed, and he returned.
