Background:
Ok so for those of you who don't know, my best friend lives abroad in England, and we both met in Germany. He is only two years older than me and is a grade above by 1. We met in this program for tween/teens called the "Teen Center".
Our school is on an Air Base, and by the time school lets out, kid's parents are still working, so they have different programs for different age groups. Other kids who live off base sometimes ride a bus, while others who are younger than 12 have to go to the program, or home. Kids who are older are free to roam around and go to the bowling alley, restaurants, the BX, the teen center, etc.
When I met my best friend, I was new to the tween/teen center, and I was 11 in 6th grade, while he was in 7th. We met during a foosball game, and we became "rivals".

Later on in 7th grade(him in 8th), we started dating throughout the year. That DEFINITELY did not work out, let's just say he made a lot of mistakes and made a bunch of problems. One being him cheating on me with one of my friends for a week on Valentines Day. That's just one of the many problems.
Anyway, after we broke up, we decided to just be friends, and then he had to move to England, while I'm back here at the states.
To this day we still talk, but the problem is, we haven't face timed in a fricking YEAR! So you could probably imagine how happy I was.

Story:
So, it was a random day at night, and it was June 26, 2019. I was just watching movies, when I thought, "Hey, I haven't been on my IPad in a while". (P.S. I don't have a Iphone, I have a flip phone instead)
I went on it and saw a bunch of messages from my best friend and I instantly felt bad. I texted him back, and he responded immediately. We talked about his girlfriend and how they were so cute together, and how much they loved each other. Then we started to look back on memories in Germany, and that was when I found out he had been together with my friend for a week.
Just so you know, I knew he cheated, but I found out the day they ended it, which was sadly on Valentines Day. I can't believe I believed him when he said it was just a rumor and that he only flirted a bit through text, but that was it. He also told me more, but I'm not gonna write it down, I'll save it for another story. Plus it's in the past anyway, it doesn't really matter anymore.
Anyway, you should know that every time I ask him if we can facetime, he always declines me, and he says "next time", but he never keeps his word. Until now. I was so happy when we could see each other again, and we talked about random stuff. Then we got to the topic of cheesy pick up lines he could say to his girlfriend. They were so cringey that I almost died that night. My personal favorite was when he said, "Are you in track? Because you're taking laps around my heart."😂
The way he said it was funny too. He said it casually with this look that Flynn had from Tangled.

Then we started talking about zodiac signs with a few teasing here and there. Played truth or dare, talked about our families, some funny stories while we were apart. Then we said the usual:
"Goodnight Junebug. Luv ya."
And I say, "Goodnight Kuya (big brother). Luv ya too."
