That Afternoon

Elizabeth's pov

I am at the coffee shop trying to work on my song. I just can't focus. Oh yeah last night even though Justin didnt use protection like a dummy. I however am on the pill yeah. Now back to reality.

"Mind if I join you?" I looked up to see Mr. McCann

"Of course" I say as he sat across from me

"How have you been?" He asks me

"I've been alright how have you been?" I ask him as I took a sip out of my cup.

"I've been about the same as you" he tells me as I just admired him.

"What?" He asks me

"Oh I'm sorry it's just that you seem really young to be teaching at NYU" I say as he gave me a small smile.

"Oh well thank you and since I know you're going to ask I'm 23" he tells me

"How did you know I was going to ask you that?" I ask him

"I just knew where this conversation was going" he tells me as I gave him a smile

"So how do you like working with Mr. Alderman?" I ask him

"Oh it's great I like it a lot how are things going with your dance routine?" He asks me

"It's getting there I've just been getting distracted a lot lately" I tell him as I looked out the window.

"I'm sure that whatever is distracting you it will eventually go away" he says

"How can you be so sure?" I ask him

"I'm not  I just have a feeling that it will" he says

"There you are Liz we've been looking for you everywhere" Parker says

"Sorry I'm coming it was a pleasure chatting with you Mr. McCann" I say as I grab my things.

"The pleasure is all mine you have a nice rest of your day Miss. Moran" he says as I walk out the door.

"Why were you guys looking for me?" I ask Parker while we walked around the corner.

"Because everyone is talking about you and Justin" he says as I stopped dead in my tracks

"What? Why?" I ask him

"Apparently someone said that they saw Justin leave your dorm late last night" he tells me

I didn't say anything when we reached the building I kept walking down the street. I didn't look back I just kept going and my feet didn't stop me. About thirty minutes later I stopped walking and sat on a bench.

God I'm so stupid why didn't I listen to myself the night I went out to my first college party ever? I wish I never met Justin Drew Bieber. My face fell into my hands and from this point on I don't know what to do anymore.

"Hey I didn't think I would see you again and especially not so soon" I looked next to me to see Mr. McCann.

"Oh hello" is all I say

"You know that you're supposed to be back at the dormitory" he says

"Yeah I know, I just dont want to be there right now" I say as he looked at me.

"Do you mind me asking why?" He says

"Oh uh it's about Justin and I" is all I say as I pulled my hair out of my face when it fell right back in it.

"Oh that" is all he says

"Wait you know?" I ask him as I covered my face with my hands and let out a very frustrated breath.

"Yes I know and you can't let it get to you Elizabeth because it's just going to make things worse and tare you apart" he says

"I know and I wish I never met him" I say as I look ahead of me

"Do you really mean that?" He asks

"Kind of I wouldn't be going crazy like this and stressing over everything if I wouldn't have met him and I just and for us to end up the way we did and him cheating" I say as I felt my eyes start to tear up I felt something hit my head and I looked up and a raindrop hit my face.

"Great it's starting to rain just what I need" I say to myself

"You can come home with me if you want and I can bring you back before curfew" he says

"Oh that's I dont know won't you get into trouble?" I ask him

"Yes, but who says that anyone has to know" he says

"Alright" I say as we rose to our feet and he pulled his keys out of his jacket. I followed his lead and it brought me to a black challenger.

He opened the door for me and I got inside. He jogged over to his side and got in.

"I love your car Mr. McCann" I say as he started it up

"Oh call me Jason please" he says as he drove off down the street.

"Alright so how far do you live from NYU?" I ask him

"About twenty or twenty-five minutes depends on how much of a hurry I am in" he tells me. 

"Oh" I say as Jason took a right turn and drove down the street. He came to a stop and pulled his keys out.

"Here we are" he says as he gets out. Before I could open my door he had already opened it for me.

"Thank you" I say as I get out.

"You're very welcome" he says as I follow his lead and we walked up three flights of stairs. We stopped at a door with the number 123 on it. Jason stuck the key in the lock and we walked inside. I looked around and everything in here is black.

"It's not much, but its what I could afford" he tells me

"No no it's nice I like it Mr- I mean Jason" I say

"Thank you can I get you anything to drink?" He asks me

"No thank you I'm alright" I say as I took a seat on the couch. There was a knock at the door and he left the kitchen to go answer.

"Hey McCann I got the thing that you asked for" I hear a man say

"Oh that's great Alfedo" he says

"Alright I'll catch you later tonight" he says and Jason shut the door.

"Sorry about that business situation" he says sitting next to me.

"Oh it's alright" I say as I got lost in his blue orbs. As I looked at him that dream that I had came to my mind.

"What would you like to do while you're here?" He asked me as I was being pulled out of my thoughts

"I don't know anything is fine with me" I say.

"Okay well do you want to watch a movie?" He asked me

"Sure" I say
