Chapter Six

Grocery Store

I pushed my cart through certain aisles. I was doing my weekly grocery shopping for myself and for Nove of course. He's a dog. He needs his food, bones, and treats; sometimes toys.

My phone buzzed for the second time since I got here. I stopped in the middle of the aisle taking it out my purse. It was a text from a familiar number that was un named for a reason. I rolled my eyes putting it away, and continuing with the cart.

Once I made it to my last stop, sauces, I looked to my left seeing the guy from the club. I quickly scanned for my sauce so I could hurry up and leave, I didn't want to get caught with this man. I grabbed the Louisiana hot sauce and spaghetti sauce before putting it in my cart. I pushed the cart out of the aisle and made it to the checkout area. I found the shortest line, joining it. I looked around not seeing him and did a sigh of relief.

I started placing my groceries on the belt.

"How are you today ma'am?" The country boy asked with a smile.

"I'm good. You?"

"I've been feelin' great! Thanks for asking."

I nodded. "Your total is 157.92."

I pulled my card out, but before I could enter it in the chip, a man reached over placing his in. I looked up surprised, but cursed myself out on the inside.

"How nice of you." The cashier cheesed. "Here's your receipt, have a good day."

"Thank you." I grabbed my bags putting them in my cart.

I looked over seeing him paying for his things. I decided to wait by the doors for him, I had to at least say thank you but of course tell him that wasn't needed.

Once he walked over I made my way outside. I pushed the cart to his car then stopped.

"You didn't have to do that. But thank you."

He chuckled. "You welcome." He opened his trunk.

"I guess this is deal we made so when do you want to meet up?" I put my weight on my left leg.

"Uh," He looked at his phone. "Tonight cool?"

"Yea I don't work tonight, that's fine."

"Can I get your number?" I nodded grabbing his phone, putting it in. "What time should I get you?"

"7 would be good."

"Aight I'll text you." I nodded before making my way to my car. I got my things in then went home.

I was a little nervous about meeting up with him tonight, I didn't even get his name which doesn't make sense.

Once I made it home and unpacked my groceries, I took a long shower, washing old product out of my hair. I shaved my legs, armpits, and back. I hate that I grow hair on my back, it's so annoying. But, I get my pussy waxed so I didn't have to worry about that.

I slid on some joggers and a hoodie just to lounge around in.

"Nove." My dog ran to me wagging his tail. "Hey baby boy. Did you miss mommy?" I picked him up, rubbing his back which he loved.

He looked back at me with his big brown eyes with his tongue out.

"You wanna go on a walk?" His tail went faster knowing he wanted to.

I got up, putting my slides on. I grabbed his leash then we were gone.

We walked around my quiet neighborhood. I lived in an apartment where not a lot of people lived. It was pretty expensive but I mange it.
