The sound of my alarm going off caused my eyes to flutter open, also being blinded by the sun shining thru my half opened blinds.
I swear Alabama weather is so bipolar.
I moved Wakas arms from around my waist and turned the alarm off. That didn't seem to wake him because he just shifted a bit with his eyes still closed.
I stretched before getting fully out of bed. Realizing all I had on were my sweatpants and no shirt. I rushed to the bathroom, peeing, then getting in the shower.
Once I was done, I wrapped the towel around my body and went to brush my teeth. After all my hygiene I went to my closet to pick out an outfit for my busy day.
Opening drawers, I found a nice comfortable outfit and put it on. I heard footsteps behind me and quickly turned around.
"Morning." He spoke in a raspy voice.
"Morning. I thought I would've had to wake you up."
I walked over to my vanity, sitting down. I took my hair out of yesterday's bun and started working on it.
"You going to work?" He looked at my thru the mirror.
"Yea. I'll probably be extremely busy today, but I'll close a bit early."
"You tryna go out tonight?"
"Not really." I started on my makeup. "Why?"
"Just wondering. But tomorrow night, I gotta make an appearance at the club. Showing one of my friends some love on his new night club. I would like you to come."
"Why so you can show me off?" I joked.
"Yea pretty much." I turned to look at him and smirked. "I mean who wouldn't?"
I faced the mirror. "Look at you. Fine as hell, loyal as hell, all of the above as hell." He said making me laugh.
"Real shit though Tami. I really want us to work, I can see us having a great future."
We stared at each other thru the mirror. I was shocked by his morning words, but in a good way.
"Me too Waka." I smiled. "But I do have something to say."
"What?"
"I know your real name is not Waka, so what is it?"
He looked down chuckling. "Really want to know?"
"Not really just curious."
He smirked once he caught onto my smart behavior.
"Well it's Juaquin."
